Seghill Tandoori in Northumberland

23/10/21 This is a takeaway that has changed hands a few times in the last 10yrs. or so, so some of the previous reviews may not apply today. I've had good and bad meals in that time. The two meals we got a couple of days ago, (chicken madras, tandoori chicken masalla) were good, equal to other good takeaways. So if you used to go there it's time to try again. 26/3/22 If you want to try something different and you like noodles get the Seghill special, no rice, chips if you like.

I don't have indian takeaways very often but what a lovely surprise. A bit of a wait but it is a Saturday night...well recommend the Chicken Madras...

Always great food, you won't get a bad meal here, been using them for years, which says it all.

Nice food but don't take card, which can be a pain in the arse if you've got no cash.

I made an order on just eat, I just live round the corner and they cancelled. If they advertise they are open then why cancel. It would be great to taste the food so hopefully they give some sort of good will gesture.

Food was excellent, just right for me. Great customer service and delivery driver was pleasant and early. Would recommend

Have used this place a few times and been very happy. This time it was fit for the bin! Vegetarian curry had potato onion and one piece of cauliflower hardly a vegetable curry. Biriyani had prawns without any flavour. Rice wasn’t pilau style rice. Only gave one star as nan was nice. Won’t be going here in future and menu is in the bin with the food.

Used to order from here regularly (at least once a week) recently it has gone really down hill. On one order the person on the phone argued about what I had ordered and I eventually accepted it could be miscommunication and let it go. Then my most recent order had an item missing from the delivery, after calling I was told it wasn't included in the deal although it was read back to me at time of order. They then agreed it should be included but asked me to collect it as they were busy! They eventually agreed to send it out...it was never received. Won't be ordering again. If you do, make sure your order is correct and you receive what you asked for before paying!

Waited for over one and hours when food finally arrived it was all cold they told me it was a new batch because the driver got lost and they were busy!!! it was not a new batch it was the original this takeaway has been ok in the past will never order again trying to palm off cold food off to good customers and expecting you to eat it doesn't obide by food health laws in my opinion
