Shab Indian Restaurant and Takeaway in Northumberland

Me and a friend popped in on Friday and had an excellent meal here. The staff were great, the food delicious and exactly what we wanted. If you are looking for an excellent Indian experience, you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely delicious meal. The restaurant felt fresh and modern and staff were smart and attentive. Highly recommended this for a treat. It was very good value, and the whole experience felt it would be far more expensive than it was

The staff were very welcoming and polite. Service was first rate. Food was hot and very good. Our two vegetarian family thought the food was great. We'll done Sherkham for a lovely evening.

After a long days hike, it was a pleasure to come eat here. Food was delicious. Came here with my partner and we shared 1 starter, 2 mains and a side veg dish, and 1 dessert. All was delicious and Customer service was excellent, very attentive.

One of the best Indian meals we’ve had! Looks like just a take out from outside but there is a great little restaurant upstairs. We had a really friendly welcome, plenty of choice on the menu that was all clearly set out. The food was exceptionally good. Friendly chat with one of the staff at the end of the meal. I’d highly recommend this place.

We had a show to go to at Alnwick Playhouse nearby so we were tight on timing. The food was prompt, delicious and the staff were helpful and friendly. Would visit again.

Just coming home after being out and about. My wife said do you fancy an Indian not really it's a bit late. We could just get a starter, OK then I said.We went for a mixed kebab starter with a portion of rice.I was like a main course.First class meal first class service 10/10

Absolutely amazing. One of the best we've eaten. I had chicken seasick, still cooking on the skillet when it was brought to the table. Chicken onions and peppers with a lovely salad and mint sauce. My husband's chicken balti was also outstanding. Reasonably priced, well presented an all round 5 stars and well deserved

Lovely restaurant located along the high street. Staff where very friendly over the phone and when we arrived for our meal. This was a last minute.com job as left it too late but they where really accommodating. Food arrived on time from when we ordered. They had some local products on sale and choose from.Nicely presented meals with lots colours flavour's
