Spice House in Northumberland

Not worthy of being called a curry. It was watery and we couldn’t differentiate between dishes. The starter was not value for money. I know businesses have to make a profit in these hard times, but not at my expense.

Moved tables to make space for us. Possibly the freshest, tastiest indian meal we've had. Will be back if visiting the area again. Really good food and service

Had a very tasty meal here whilst on holiday. The food was delicious and really good value for money too. I would recommend that you book a table if you eat early-ish as it was busy at around 6_7pm after around 8pm I think you could walk in as it was a lot quieter then. Well worth a visit if you enjoy Indian food

Just had the worst takeaway ever. Must have been a different chef for the other reviews. Ours was tasteless, fluorescent in colour and cold. There was no spice at all and deffinatly not a Indian restaurant.

Absolutely lovely food from start to finish. Mixed platter starter was devine. Service was very good happy and smiling and couldn't do enough for you. Dont let the take away type name put you off because this may as well be fine dining without the price tag.

Ordered in advance for pick up on New Year's Eve. One guest went down with Covid19 and I asked for theirs to be packed separately. No problems. The meals were hot and delicious as normal.

Food was nice although pricey. Doesn't help being over charged aswell hence the low rating. Maybe be less greedy and it would have been a 5* but I'm not risking paying too much again.

When we arrived we were asked if we had booked, ( 5.30pm], we said no, but he squeezed us in. Nobody else in the restaurant. Our eating plates were cold, the food was served in dishes which went cold after a couple of minutes. Honey chicken tikka looked good but was tough to chew. Overall disappointing, will not be going back.

One of the best Indian meals we've had. Definitely not short on the spice and so full of flavour. Devastated that we were on holiday and so can't visit every week! Service was great and such good value for money.
