Sweechoo in Northumberland

Phoned at 1730 to get order in quickly as possible. To be told order will take 1 hr 15 minutes. After 2 hours rang to be told they’re having issues and would get food out as soon as possible. Sorry - sounds like bad organisational skills. I can’t comment on if the food is any good - cos I’m still waiting.Ok after 2 hours and the food arrived. I’ve changed my score from 2, to 4 star. Cos to be fair, the food was really nice, curry alittle watery but tasted nice. If I could give 3 1/2 stars based on the delivery delay I would, but 4 stars for the taste.

When you call for a delivery at 6.15pm and they say it's 2.30 hours for a delivery ! Don't think your that busy you have been open for 45 minutes. Sort your staff out , no one will wait 2.30 hours ! Would I wait this long to eat in ?No take away is that busy that it takes 2.30 hours to deliver 45 minutes after opening ! .

Fantastic food. Non greasy and full of flavour. The prawns are huge! Delivered within 30 minutes. Thank you 😊

Absolute disaster ordered at 5 .30 Christmas Eve still waiting for food at 20 past nine. Will never order again!

Always loved this place but tonight went down in my estimations. Food was ordered said it would be 45 minutes. Rang after an hour and a quarter to get told it would be 15 minutes. 20 minutes later rang again to be told the food had not even been cooked yet. Anybody at this stage would be quite frustrated and my mam was told on the phone not to take that attitude with them....needless to say I won't order again from here!

Ate in and found that the food was... OK. My meal was nice but my mums wasn’t as good. Haven’t tried take-out but got a local restaurant, I would go elsewhere. NOTE: This was before the Coronavirus Outbreak

Well worth it. Not very expensive, friendly and fast service and the food is beautiful. Will never go anywhere else

Visited for the first time today with my wife and was more than happy with the service and the food.When we first walked in there was no music playing, only a couple of people were dining in there and it felt a bit like an old western as everybody stopped and stared... We thought we would still give it a go though and the music started to play (it must have just been bad timing in between songs).The waitresses were great, always around when you needed them but not pestering while your looking through the menu/eating your food, nice prawn crackers to nibble on whilst ordering too.We ordered the Sweetchoo banquet which came with soup, crispy aromatic duck and chicken and beef fillet dishes. The food was excellent, much more than you need for two people and of a really high standard, the price is about average for a chinese too coming to just over £40 with drinks as well.This restaurant is a real hidden gem and we will definitely be going back, highly reccomended!Oh, and they also do take out!

First time at Sweechoo we tried take away meal, could not find any fault with the meal, it was very tasty and the portions very generous. We will be returning to sit in to take in the full atmosphere, ........... to have this in BEDLINGTON is unbelievable.

Fabulous staff. Dealt with our son really well even though he was having a meltdown. Food was fantastic and we will be going back.
