Thai Vibe Cafe in Northumberland

Spot on.Exceptional food, polite and non intrusive staff .The Pad Thai was particularly worthy.

What an amazing Thai Restaurant. Visited Alnwick for 5 days and must have had the best two Meals of my life (Lilburns the other). The standard of service and the quality of the food was simply outstanding. What a way to finish an amazing family holiday. A 5 star treat.

Walked into the restaurant and before we could even ask for a table for 2 a gent marched over to us and said too many people had come in at once and we can’t eat there. He then ushered us out of the door and closed it behind us. Rude! Out of interest we counted how many diners were in the mad rush.......5! Only 5 people were sat dining! A very bad first impression.I would recommend arriving before opening to be in with a chance of missing the rush and to experience dining here!

Update: revised my score after discovering this place has a hygiene rating of ONE! Decidedly average food. Compulsory 10% added to the bill if paying by credit/debit card. Service received from the waiter, although attentive, was reminiscent of Basil Fawlty.

I must echo the other exceptional reviews here. Amazing Thai food food served in an elegant dining room by the well-travelled and charming British owner. The flavors were sublime with just the right amount of heat.Book ahead to avoid disappointment. This was one of our favorite dining experiences on a three week trip to the UK.

We decided to visit Alnwick for the first time for a weeks holiday. We decided to eat out on our first evening at the Thai Vibe, well what a find ... the food is exceptional. The menu is not large but the dishes are mouthwatering, the flavours out of this world. It’s so nice to have freshly prepared food, yes you have to wait but the Best is always worth the wait. The atmosphere is both warm & tranquil, the service attentive & nothing is to much trouble. We loved it so much we returned for our last evening. We would recommend you book in advance. Rest assured we will be returning.

I love Thai food so came here when suggested by a friend. Small and intimate atmosphere but almost full when we were there. The menu was different to other places we'd been and we were really unfamiliar with it so asked advice of waiter who was helpful in explaining dishes. Enjoyed meal but even the "quite" spicy was pretty spicy and I thought I liked chilli! Had a sweat on😄

Superb food in a beautiful little restaurant.I have to say that I normally go for Chinese or Indian and was simply blown away by the food, the service and the value for money.I would say that of all the places we ate whilst in Northumberland, this was my surprising favourite and will definitely visit again if in the area.Highly recommended!

After not being out for a long time, my wife and I decided to go out for a meal to Thai Vibe Cafe, the whole experience was fantastic, we spent 2 and a half hours tasting the most amazing flavoured starters, main and desserts accompanied by a very large Singha Beer. We left feeling we had found a new place to go, once in a while to escape from life's challenges.Definitely the best Thai restaurant around☺😊😀😃😄. THANK YOU

This restaurant is absolutely superb! I was in Alnwick for a short birthday trip and was taken here as a surprise. I wish I could go again!Having lived in Thailand I can say that the food here is very authentic and actually as good, if not better, than the food over there! Thanks to the excellent Thai chef and the great host for an amazing experience - highly recommended!
