Really enjoyed our Sunday lunch. Well cooked and very tasty. The meat was excellent, my husband was a butcher for 50 years so he should know. Friendly staff and good service. Will definitely be back.

Lovely food .we had a table for 20 people.The food was served very well presented and very promptly everyone enjoyed what they had ordered.

Booked for Sunday lunch. The food was very tasty and plenty of veg. The meat was tender and the gravy good. Only downside was although the fire was on it was cold and although they weren't extremely busy when we arrived we did wait quite a while for our lunch.

Stayed here from the 2nd-6th of Jan 2022 and was delighted by both the pub, food, staff and beautiful setting of which the Arms is situated in. A small drive from Morpeth (about 15 mins), the place was perfect with two old log burner fires mixed with central heating (for the chilly months), great beer and good food. Would recommend visiting and staying if in the nortumberland area.

Lovely welcoming pub, despite "bookings being needed", they fit us in, and we had lovely meals, both vegetarian and not, despite originally just stopping for an afternoon tipple. Will be back.

Dinner at the Beresford Arms was delicious. The soup was unusual with a local herb adding a wonderful delicate flavour. The lamb was cooked to perfection. The portions where just right leaving you satisfied but not overfull. Friendly attentive waitress.

Called in Sunday 8.11.21 at 12:02pm with a friend whilst cycling. We just fancied a sandwich. I went inside to ask for a menu as we were sitting outside, and was met with "we're fully booked". There was a man sat on his own having a pint and I couldn't see anyone else. "Oh. Are we able to get anything at all?" "No".I wouldn't recommend it for cyclists, or anyone, really.

Off the beaten track gem. Fantastic setting, food and staff. Well worth a detour to eat and or drink. Also have rooms available, which going by the bar and restaurant I would imagine are really beautiful and comfortable. Would highly recommend.
