A few bottled real ales would help, but nice staff. The offer to customers to bring their own food shows great customer focus !

Despite serving frozen food this is possibly the best pub in England, Unless you are a cat person in which case you should search for a therapist. 😉 word of warning, if you don't take your dog you may feel left out.

Just want to a huge thanks to the owner at The Black Swan who went out of her way to help us arrange a cab when we were a bit stuck after mis-judging the length of our walk. She couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. While we waited we enjoyed a well-deserved cider whilst chatting away with her. Lovely friendly pub with great atmosphere. Wishing her all the best for the future.

Booked in for Sunday lunch, 4 adults and a large dog. We were looked after really well, staff are brilliant, Sunday lunch was absolutely delicious, can’t knock this place at all!

We are staying in the village for the week, so as always, had to try the local for Sunday lunch. It was the best lunch out we have had in ages! Good choice of meat, we had the chicken, yummy! Also the champion of all, a fabulous gravy, which they gave an extra boat full, and I could have drank it! The staff who looked after us were SO nice and friendly. This pub is a must if you love good food and a good pint. 5 stars we had a great afternoon and will be going back. X

Monday 24th September from dusk till dawn. We had a great night. Gordon says hi to his new dominoes friends. Thanks everyone for a very memorable evening. Thanks again to the wonderful young man who works behind the bar who sang a song for us at the end of the night . We will never forgot. Best wishes Allison and Gordon. 😉
