The Brasserie @ the Victoria Hotel in Northumberland

Booked a last minute break over Easter and got the last superior room available. Good sized room with a settee at the end of the bed, views of the fields to the rear and a good sized, well equipped bathroom. The choice at breakfast was the best I've ever seen. The hotel is very modern and clean and the meals on the evening were good value as well.Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and Penny liked all the treats and cuddles as well.We would definitely stay again

A wonderful hotel with a real, warm and welcoming atmosphere. We took our dog and so did many others, a true dog friendly place. The bar and restaurant are really busy in the evening so book ahead - we didn't and were disappointed to not get a table. Breakfast is top class. We'll definitely be returning again. Thank you!

Great restaurant and very nice food offered throughout the day.The rooms are a decent size with a nice shower. The beds are soft but very comfortable.The bar is well stocked and the staff are friendly and helpful enough.Plenty of car parking and WiFi available.My only minus thoughts are the quilts are too heavy and the rooms are very warm.

Amazing hotel in the centre of the village. We stayed for 2 nights and loved every minute.The rooms are spotless and very cosy with all amenities.The location is perfect and the free parking is a bonus as the village was busy.We booked a meal on the last night and the staff were fantastic. The food was great at very reasonable prices.

A last minute stay travelling for work. The hotel had 1 room available. It was smallish but very comfortable with a beautiful bed and bath. We enjoyed relaxing in the lounge in the evening with a glass of wine. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was relaxed and very enjoyable.

Amazing!! I had a fabulous meal here tonight.Super fresh ingredients , good portions.I would highly recommend the steak burger.Friendly staff and amazing service throughout.Will definitely be back.

Such a cute hotel. Right in the centre of the village in an old, black and white building.We didn't pay for a castle view room but got a view of the castle anyway, which was a lovely surprise!The room was a bit small but it was big enough for what we needed. It was very charming with lots of features and old world charm.The breakfast was included and was absolutely delicious. We actually didn't eat anything until the evening because it filled us up so much! And the woman who was serving the breakfast was lovely and very funny.Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location for exploring Northumbria. Traditional style hotel with modern bar and restaurant. Kooky layout of room 24 on top floor. Good amenities including comfy bed, hot chocolate and decent toiletries. Breakfast was very tasty and plenty of choice. Restaurant staff very friendly.One caution: It's a rabbit warren of stairs, so you need good navigation skills and strong legs! They do have some ground floor rooms at the back.

Meal only: we called in to see if they could fit 4 of us and 3 dogs and they don’t book tables so we waited and managed to get a table after about 10 minutes. Food was not super quick but it was very good. Steak pie and fish and chips all great, plates totally cleared. Would recommend

Just had a lovely over night stay, the drinks at the bar were reasonably prized, not the usual extravagant hotel prices.The room was a little small but very clean .We had food from a buffet as we were attending a christening, it was a very good selection of hot and cold snacks, the hot snacks were particularly good and the carrot cake was delicious.We will stay again.
