My friend and I were in Berwick upon Tweed on Wednesday and stopped at the Brewers Arms for lunch as we saw the board outside and thought £8.50 was a good deal for 2 courses. The soup and bread roll was lovely and was really hot which I love. My turns had the potato skins which she said were lovely too. There was five different veg served with the main course which was lovely too. The roast beef was fine too. Service was great. Staff very friendly. Soft drinks very reasonably priced too. Would definitely recommend.

Good old fashioned food plenty of vegetables and service spot on special board two courses or three course cheap enough

Lovely huge dog friendly pub (sit at the back but plenty of room). Ate here twice food was what I call "good home cooked grub" had roast lamb with mash, carrots, cauliflower swede and cabbage it was like your mum use to make! Lovely. Beer and food 😋 brilliant value for money. If your hungry I definitely suggest eating here. Staff were wonderful too X

We wandered around Berwick trying to find a place that wasn't just a coffee and sandwich place. The brewers Arms didn't disappoint, it was full of locals which is always a good sign. The homemade steak pie was great although my son was a little disappointed with the burger he had, he made up with the choc fudge cake

What a great Saturday lunchtime pub. Really nice atmosphere, fantastic staff and great value sandwiches and toasties. Beer I had was great too. Just sorry I had to take an urgent call while paying and forgot to tip. I'll definitely sort that on my next visit.Thank you all, it was great

I agree with the previous review 👍This pub is a must for good wholesome pub food for a great price. We both had lentil soup with a warm crusty roll followed by steak pie with a generous portion of stew/gravy and a delicious puff pastry on top. This was served with a medley of perfectly cooked vegetables, chips or mash.2 starters/2 mains/2 drinks for £23 which great value considering the quality of food and of course attentive service with a smile from the team of ladies.Well done to all the staff!!!!
