The Hermitage Inn in Northumberland

Excellent food and service and room was very good staff very friendly

Roast dinner could have been better, no roast pots , lumpy mash, carrots, cabbage overcooked and leathery Yorkie, pork ok

If you visit Warkworth then the hermitage inn is a must. We had the cod chips and salad which was excellent, the fish was fresh in from north tyne.

Food awful. One waitress who was extremely over worked. Couldn,t eat our meals - greasy, re-heated chips , horrible meat pie swimming in luke warm gravy. Not very pleasant room to sit in . Do not recommend

Awful food - 3 out of 4 of our portions of fish and chips were so undercooked that the batter and fish were raw inside (one having already been sent back for the missing chips). The staff seemed bemused about us choosing to mention it—as politely as we could. We asked for sandwiches as a replacement, thinking they'd be served quickly, but even these seemed to take an age—these, at least, were pretty decent. Upon going to pay, it felt as though we were being treated as a flight risk.

Absolutely gorgeous ribeye steak and all the trimmings...perfectly cooked followed by a fab singer in the bar....fantastic night out. Great staff clean friendly pub with a great atmosphere. Thank you all.

A lovely friendly pub with delicious food. The carvery is fabulous too.They also have rooms so very handy for a stay in Warkworth.The staff are very good. An all round friendly place. 😊

Lovely overnight stay at The Hermitage Inn, Warkworth. Really welcoming, friendly. Clean rooms. Great company and gorgeous brekky. We'll be back x

Visited Saturday 19th Feb first time in there. The staff were lovely the bar man worked very hard looking after everyone. Hubby got fish and chips and i got chicken dinner they were both beautiful. Dog friendly pub which is a bonus would highly recommend for food.
