Ate there today - simply good food, properly cooked!

First visit. Partner had chicken with ginger sauce. Nicest chicken he ever had. I had lamb chops with mint from their garden. Vegetables delicious. Felt like a delicious home cooked meal. Very nice owners. Very well laid out for social distancing. Will definitely go again.

Wark is a lovely place full of history,and very nice porple,history is all around the castle holy island Cuthbert, Northumberland is a great county,you ride and walk on it,the views are wonderful,the coast magnificent,

We had lunch today at the Jackdaw restaurant in Warkworth. It is many years since we last visited the Jackdaw. What a superb meal, with friendly staff. We will be back.

The Jackdaw is superb!The food is of great quality, generous portions and at a good price. The vegetable melody that you get with the mains is super generous and delicious. There is always a great choice of dishes available and the wine and beer selection is brilliant.The owners could not be nicer and make every visit special.I cannot recommend this place enough.
