A lovely little find today. Wonderful service from the lady who's first day it was. The food was delicious.

My sister, mum and I visited here yesterday morning. We didn’t feel welcome at all. We felt we were in the way. When we asked for the basics like do you do tea with just mint and boiling water, we were told they were far too busy to do that sort of things as there were only 2 of them. We asked about the beautiful prints on the wall and how was it done, to be told basically that was his secret and he wouldn’t be sharing that information with us. The cake was tasty but we will not be going back due to the unfriendliness of the staff. Btw it was not very busy either.

Lovely lunch from the specials board. Cosy cafe, delicious food well presented and freshly prepared.

·

Proper cafe, making a real effort to be great. Owner obviously cares about their business. Great food, clean and lovely coffee

Lovely hot coffee, cake and delicious cheese scone. All served in good time. Really clean establishment including the toilets with plenty of hand sanitizer, hand wipes etc. Nothing to fault in our opinion. Owner gave us great advice about a lovely small town to stop off at on our way home when he happened to see us looking at the map. Really invaluable advice which extended our trip away

Delicious, home made food. The smoked mackerel pate on toast was amazing, the tuna melt toastie was really good, as were the cakes! We had Earl Grey teabread, Blackberry Bakewell slice & carrot cake with lovely hot coffees & they were all really tasty. Highly recommended if you're in Alnwick.

Great food and prices and very pleasant staff. We will be definately going back when next in Alnwick.

Stopped For Coffee , Not dog friendly indoors, but provide a gazebo for Outdoor eating and drinking that perfectly suffices. Good coffee and friendly service

The food is lovely but the man making the drinks is miserable and rude to the staff. We were sat by the till and several times he made comments about customers - moaned at someone behind their back who asked where their food was and at someone else who asked for additional sugars with their tea. None of the staff look happy and you can understand why - he made rude and mean comments to them, criticising them continually throughout our time there. I'm surprised there are any staff left. Half of the cafe experience is the atmosphere and we were very uncomfortable listening to him. I wouldn't return based on our visit today. I can see similar comments have been made before and obviously nothing has changed.

Great for breakfast. For four we had two breakfast bangles with smokey bacon, black pudding, cheese and fried egg (best eaten with knife and fork), a sausage sandwich with a fried egg and a straight sausage sandwich. All eaten with enjoyment. Lovely👍
