Very friendly and relaxed. Great food, ale and service.

Been for Sunday lunch today. Service was good but good was very disappointing. The food was cold and the beef was tasteless. We did inform the waitress who said she would tell the chef. She duly did this and came back with a “sorry” from the chef. There was no complimentary drinks or money knocked of the bill and neither did the owners come over to us to check out our concerns.

Snuck in at the end of Sunday service and it was a delight! Great Sunday roast and superb service from the staff. Highly recommended

Amazing little country pub. Great beers but the food is something else.

Really good food and not too much on the menu. Shame Its so far out of the way. Lovely beer as well. Only downside was a family letting their boys stamp around. Not the owners fault

Really lovely proper pub, set in a beautiful location. Gorgeous food! Great drinks & excellent friendly staff. We have at last found our local. Happy days 😀

Lovely place, we arrived half an hour before they opened and they were still happy to avail us of ale. Food was great too. Not just standard pub grub.

Amazing recommendation by one of my grandads friends! We’ve been meaning to try this place for quite some time and we were so glad we did! Sunday lunch menu was amazing and the main meal was absolutely spot on. Could not fault this place what so ever. Amazing customer service and family ran which makes it even more homely! Best Sunday dinner we have had in a long time
