Exceptionally nice food. Came on chance as gave up on Vintage Inn up the road. Will certainly return. Good menu, excellent food and drink together with genuinely friendly and helpful team. Thank you

The decor is nice, lots of different types of seating. Staff were helpful, efficient and service was quick. The food was good if a little pricey. Would definitely recommend.

Ridley arms was great all round. Food well prepared and presented, tasty and very good value. Excellent range of quality cask beers on tap. I had Chinook from North East Beeding Company it was on point well looked after, it was one of I think 9 cask conditioned beers...Staff friendly and pleasant to be served by ...Well worth a visit.I'd normally take more photos but I was passing by after a hospital visit and was preoccupied

One bar / waitress was an asset to your company . Lovely demeanor very helpful.She made our experience even more enjoyable. Food was lovely too! All in all a wonderful experience.

Long overdue return to the Ridley Arms for Sunday lunch with my family. Food, as always, was amazing but must say was very disappointed with the service from staff. They appeared to lack experience in customer service, very unorganised and there was no supervisory presence as there had been in the past times we had visited.

Been here today for first time in over 25 years. Lovely bar busy and good atmosphere. However there were a group of country gents at the bar who were clearly local but loud and using foul language despite children being in ear shot - not good at 5pm on a Saturday afternoon. we didn't eat but food looked lovely and reasonably priced

Had a very good Sunday lunch here. The food was great and the staff were great. Plenty of parking and easy to find.

Often take a long circular walk from Stannington. Love to finish with a stop at the Ridley Arms. Friendly staff and great food. Dog friendly too. Can't wait for the next time. 5*

Called in on our way to Scotland, lovely little find. Food, drinks and service where excellent.

Mums gone to IcelandHalf of us received food within 10 minutes. My ‘steak burger’ for £12.95 was quite clearly a defrosted and flat affair (picture below), something you’d expect to receive at a kids birthday party. 40 minutes later our pals received their food that looked better, but no apology given for delay, service is naff.
