Great local pub jaa three seperate rooms one room front with bar cosy with bench seating. 2nd room darts area with Tv and seating. 3rd room pool table with seating and tv. and also has outsoor seating at back near small to rear carpark part of outdoor is covered. Very friendly pub we took 2 little dogs inside. Lovely pint

4 of us arrived late on Sunday 12th September having not got in anywhere else. We were welcomed and accommodated. The roast dinner was served quickly and was delicious. Everything about the meal was lovely including the price £9.99!. The place itself is very unpretentious but the food exceeded our expectations so WELL DONE!

Home cooked food. Lots of it and well made. Well kept beer. Dog friendly. Prices much more reasonable than beadnell is now.

Booked a table here as stayed at the campsite down the road. Menu was just standard pub food but there wasn’t anything for vegetarians. Dog friendly. But the food was a disappointment I’m sorry to say. I hate it when places use frozen chips, what’s wrong with actual potatoes? And the fish and chips, sadly that fish was not fresh, it had definitely been frozen, it was watery as hell. Not my kind of place I’m afraid, though the other reviews and photos made out it was pretty decent. Sorry guys

Very pleasant unhurried evening meal. Polite staff. The food was excellent. Glad we booked our table the day before.
