Clean and comfortable room , breakfast tray rather than breakfast supplied which wsd a bit of a disappointment as not advertised as such but enjoyable stay

Clean & tidy accommodation, good continental breakfast whilst kitchens are being re furnished

Landlady and barmaids can't do enough for you a really friendly place

Less than £22 for 2 adult dinners and 2 pints. Worth every penny, going to make it a regular Sunday thing.Food was delicious. 👍

What a great little b & b, the room was clean and comfortable, the shower was fantastic and the breakfast tray was a lovely touch, will definitely stay again when in the area.

Stayed here a few years ago and it was OK but since it's been refurbished it's so much better. Comfortable, fresh, and the hosts/owners and staff are very accommodating. We will definitely be returning and will 100% recommend to others.

Stopping in one of their flats that are brand new.Pub is members only and guests from the flats and is very nice inside.Landlord and Landlandy very friendly,nothing to complain about.

Bad service!! After making a reservation, a male staff member said; " we've just hoyed you's on those two tables owa there like".Massive queue, rowdy screaming kids, no one told how the carvery system worked or could you tell where the drinks queue was or even if it was the same as the food queue!Was very chavvy place. We walked out. Never again!Update. 27/09/20Regarding your comment I'm a competitor, ha! 100% NOT a competitor. Just accept the day we went it was utter chaos! We were a family of 5 just wanting a carvery lunch. At the time I worked in an outdoor clothing company. Have never worked in a pub or club or restaurant.To say I'm a competitor is laughable as it says more about your own trust in your business and personality than it does about me. I'm a mother of three with a review on what bad service and standards there was that day!!

A big thankyou on behalf of my 95 yr old mam and my sister christine riddell .They were delivered 3 excellent Sunday lunches today .Mam tells me the meals were first class all fresh veg and lovely Turkey. And delivered to Bob elliot house .x

Just had a few drinks with my hubby, staff incredibly friendly Service with a smile. Really good local pub. Very good venue for party's, They are doing a referb. Sunday lunch is very good and u can bring a plate from home and fill it off the carvery.
