Great pub, great food and friendly staff.

Lovely food, great service and a really nice place

5 pitch pub garden site. Nicely kept. A shed toilet and a shed shower so if you didn't have your own facilities or didn't want to use your own it's a handy thing, and although very basic they were clean.We had tea in the pub very nice and reasonably priced and the staff were so nice and friendly.Only low points in our 3 night stay was that there was nothing nearby, no shops for essentials you had to walk down a steep hill into town took about 20 minutes but coming back up the hill was a trial.Because of the lack of facilities and the fact it was so remote I feel at £25 per night was a bit over priced. I think £18 would reflect

Very nice pub, lovely location, takes a few caravans too.. enjoyable visit

Damp musty smelling room. Dirty stained carpet. Mildew in the shower. Sockets that don't work. Shaving plug not working. Loo roll holder hanging off the wall. No handle on wardrobe. Towels do not dry as there is no heating in the bathroom and will only be changed every other day and only if you ask. Room not vacuumed during weeks stay. Room bins only emptied once in the week. Cup's not cleaned in weeks stay. Probably the worst room in Northumberland.

Super friendly, bagged a pitch last minute trying to avoid sleeping in the car! Everything you need for a night or few and pub bonus. Clean toilet and shower most appreciated. Locals gave some good ideas for days out and made us feel very welcome

Nice site next to a road which is fairly busy and noisy. Toilet and shower clean and functional. Pub has good beers and food. They had a karaoke one night which was noisy but finished at 10pm. A bit of a walk into the town and a steep walk back. The noisy road is the only thing that annoyed us but our pitch was nearest to the road.

A very friendly pub.Myself-wife-daughter and dog were made to feel very welcome by the lovely young bar lady.The food menu was limited but the food was fantastic.Highly recommend 👍

Nice pub with caravan/motorhome pitches. However check with them they haven't got an event on as it maybe they aren't serving food and it's a long walk into town down a steep hill. Basic outside toilet and shower facilities.

Dog friendly beer garden, lovely staff and a decent Sunday lunch with proper sliced roast beef! Nice to have separate vegetables. Toilets are modern and clean too. The beer garden has a lovely view of the local countryside with camping field on site.
