Very tasty Sunday lunch. Only issue was the fact that not many vegetables for our table of 5 people.

·

Food was lovely but a little expensive and there is no parking so made it getting parked up.

·

The food was amazing, the best meal out in a very long time. All the staff were fantastic too, would highly recommend

We had a very pleasant lunch here with some tasty food and good bitter shandies. Definitely a pub-themed menu, but with a clear effort made to make the dishes that bit special. Great chips with the steak ciabatta and we enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding to end off.

What a lovely place! Came in for a pint whilst out dog walking, stayed all afternoon. Staff brilliantly friendly, customers in the beer garden a delight. Highly highly recommended.

Gem hidden just of the cycle route. Stopped here for one night. Ate in the restaurant food was good, price was reasonable and the service was attentive. The had bike storage and were warm and friendly.

I can't fault the guys or the food. They accommodated us on a pretty busy Sunday and helped us move out of the rain before our food arrived to minimise our disruption without us having to ask which was really nice.We both had two courses for £22. I had the mackerel starter and lamb dinner and my partner had the pork dinner and chocolate mousse dessert. It was all really good and we were both very happy when we left. I would absolutely go back if/when I'm around those parts. Nice pub with outside area.

Quality Sunday Lunch! Everything cooked to perfection, the haggis scotch egg is the best scotch egg I’ve ever had and the sticky toffee pudding was lush. Definitely recommend!

·

Lovely comfortable place with a hidden gem of a beer garden! The chipolatas as a starter and the pork and bean main are highly recommended. Also only place in the area to serve Gamma Ray which is amazing!

Amazing newly renovated gastro pub. Best pub food we have had.We stayed here for a couple of nights over a bank holiday weekend. The rooms were comfortable and newly renovated. They were also quiet, despite being above the pub.The pub itself is not a loud local boozer, I’m guessing due to the food focus. It’s perfect for a quiet Sunday lunch. We had a few meals here and loved them all. The triple fried chips were a particular highlight. Breakfast was also surprisingly good - the kippers were sensational. The pub owners were also lovely to be around and very helpful about what to do in the area.Highly recommended.
