The Twice Brewed Inn in Northumberland

We stayed one night for the Stargazing and supper and it was perfect. The hotel is spotlessly clean with fabulous food, the staff were very friendly and the Stargazing was out of this world!! Will, the presenter arranged for everyone to have their own telescope and he gave a splendid demonstration of the night sky. Definitely 5 stars and we will be going back when the Planetarium is built. Highly recommend.

What a lovely place for lunch had the most amazing chicken burger, in fact, the best one I've had. Staff, we're fantastic and so friendly. I'll definitely be back in when up that way.

Fabulous place to eat and drink with a brewery on site. All staff are really friendly and very attentive. The food is amazing and large portions. So many beers to try so get someone else to drive or stay over, like we did, in very comfortable rooms.Also some serious stargazing events to attend most nights if the sky is clear. We will definitely return.

Stayed here over night for the stargazing event. It didn’t go to plan but we managed to see the moon despite the clouds. Check in was straightforward and I like the entry system in place to the room but it’s a bit tricky to get out of your holding anything in your hands. Food was tasty, and fare prices. The room was on the small side and mattress was not as comfortable. Breakfast is included but it was decent.

The star gazing event was superb, Will is really enthusiastic and knowledgeable, a telescope for each little family group, we really enjoyed it. Food in the pub was delicious and the staff were very friendly. We'd definitely come back.

Great beer brewed on site. Rooms a bit tight because the beds are HUGE. Walls on the thin side too. Friendly staff who are up for a laugh. Would not recommend the night sky experience. Plenty of telescopes, but too self-important for me

Really lovely. We were star gazing with Wil. Excellent event despite the cloudy weather. Good hearty food, well cooked. Rooms lovely . Lovely staff throughout and we even got to hold a fragment of the moon !

Very welcoming to us and the dog (he’s a bit nervous but they found him a sausage!). Brilliant range of beers. The Mac’n’cheese was wonderful and the veggie/vegan burger was a proper vegetable delight! The rooms was good and we felt comfortable.

Excellent meal in the bar, absolutely stuffed after two courses. Good beer. Accommodation was perfect. Good location for a number of short strenuous walks. Will revisit.

We visited for the stargazing event. We had Sunday dinner, the food was lovely a proper roast with great roasties. The stargazing with Will was amazing. He was full of energy with great knowledge and explained everything. We had a telescope each and Wil's enthusiasm was infectious. It is most definitely a must do!! Would highly recommend
