The Valley in Northumberland

We had the most amazing experience at The Valley. It was a voucher that I received for Christmas from my wife.There were 4 in our party, we were met at Newcastle Station with a number of other guests, taken to our train which took us to the restaurant about 30 mins away.Our orders had been taken before we arrived so the food only took a short time to come out.Everyone's food was beautiful and cooked to perfection, starters, mains, desserts, coffee and mints.Can't thank everyone enough for making this such a special night, staff were brilliant.Train back to the station then taxi home.Unforgettable.

Fantastic Indian restaurant! I'm a vegetarian and there is so much choice. If you fancy taking the train, it stops right outside!

Can't recommend highly enough! The food was delicious , the restaurant lovely, and the staff really friendly. Good veggie options too! We then found out that there were no taxis available for us to get back and we would have had to walk an hour. The woman on the front desk then gave us a lift back out of her way. A brilliant experience!

It's a lovely restaurant, easily accessible from Newcastle by train (it's on the station platform). Excellent menu, superb service from friendly and welcoming staff, brilliant food, and an all round top ambience. Would definitely recommend. If you can do the Curry Train service from Newcastle that is huge fun, well worth it!

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Got on the train from Newcastle, service was perfect and the food speaks for its self. Cannot recommend highly enough.

A real Gem. Stunning building and interior. Really great service and the food was amazing! I'd recommend trying one of their unique dishes off the chef's recommendations. I tried mangsho pesta ke shadi and it was gorgeous! We was just visiting the area and glad we came to the valley. We will definitely be back when we return. Thank you.

Really great experience at the restaurant from the greeting on arrival and the oqner visiting the table. Food was great and the service during our courses from the waiters was superb.

Been to the restaurant in Newcastle a few times and love it so, when in Corbridge for a night, it was a good opportunity to try this one. No regrets, every bit as good as the Newcastle restaurant, the food is superb, drinks not over priced and very friendly staff. Lovely ambience too.

Wow, this was worth the 90 mile drive from Edinburgh. I tried everybody at the table's curry and they were up there with the best I've had. Some amazing and unique flavours, especially from the "chef's speciality" section which I would recommend going for (there's also a vegetarian "speciality" section). They have all sorts of pilau rice too, with peas, nuts, mushrooms etc. Service was friendly, and the decor and atmosphere is really nice. Lovely interior in the old railway station.
