The Village Tearoom and Emporium in Northumberland

The Tearoom had to close.....Due to the Pandemic!!!!!And the whole business will beClosed forever..... From the 13th February!!!!!Open Wednesday till Sunday!!!From 10 am till 3pm!!!!

Bizarrely advertises to be open until 4:30, but don't expect anything after 4pm. This is an excellent ploy to make children cry. (And he did) All he wanted was a Tunnocks and they would not serve us. Absolutely bizarre.

We travelled out from Alnwick after checking on the website that the Tea Room and Emporium would be open today.Website declared it open.When we arrived the chain was across the entrance but the premises were close.There was no info displayed with regard to the closure and when checking website again whilst standing outside the door it still said it was open and due to close at 4pm.I feel this builds up ill feeling between customer and owner and is something which could be easily rectified.

“excellent service, family atmosphereand beautiful food,”unfortunately for me, the day I called in, both the waitress and chef must have been on their day off. Absolute shocking service, un-eatable food, not a nice experience from start to finish.

Fabulous. An Aladdin's cave of treasures. Antiques, fabric and so much more. Hot chocolate was gorgeous. Bacon and sausage roll, tea cake delicious. We will return!

We've stopped here before, but it has new owners now we had coffee hubby had sausage I had bacon sarnie and they were huge and very good,

A quirky little tea room adjoining an antique shop. They sell a nice selection of home made cakes and teas/coffees.

Antiques, Tea, Coffee and home made cakes but the best bit of all for my wife....a huge selection of fabrics!! More than reasonable prices and extremely helpful is the lady who runs it she's an absolute gem! Always sure to drop in when we are around Northumberland!
