The White Swan in Northumberland

What a great find. Not knowing the area we decided to have a meal at this village Inn. The restaurant was big with plenty of space between tables. The two ladies serving were helpful and friendly. There were some unusual choices on the menu and we both had a Chinese option. The food was delicious and came piling hot. Nice friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Worth a stop.

Fantastic place. We booked last minute on the way home from a weekend away. Our room was huge and very comfortable. It had everything you could need for a stay. The bathroom was also large and the shower had fantastic water pressure. The food in the restaurant / bar is excellent; generous portion sizes and reasonable prices. We thoroughly enjoyed dinner and breakfast. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We're hoping to return in the future as it's a great base for exploring the local area.

We went in here after visiting Lindisfarne. We hadn't booked and just went in on the off chance they were serving food. Mondays and Tuesdays it seems not many places serve food. The bar staff were really friendly and accommodating and we waited just half an hour to order our food. We sat in the back room out of choice as there was a Woodburner and a dart board. The food was delicious. We both chose the fish medley, and then had the best pudding we've ever had. We spent a couple of hours eating, drinking and playing darts. We would definitely return if we get the chance as we are on a weeks holiday based on the coast. ❤

I had a great couple of nights at the White Swan. Lovely room, clean and comfortable. The food was excellent and the people friendly. The White Swan is an easy place to relax, and a perfect location for exploring the area. I could happily live there!

Had a meal in the White Swan last week. Well cooked, good sized portion, friendly efficient staff.All at a very favourable price 😁I'll be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay here.Staff are amazing....so cheerful and helpful.We ate at the hotel for 3 nights and had 6 different, delicious meals between us.The room (room 5) was spacious and immaculately clean with the best shower ever! Beds were comfortable and the quiet location meant a good nights sleep.Would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends.Very handy for exploring the Northumbrian coast and countryside.

Spacious, clean rooms, comfortable beds, hot water in the shower/bath. Quiet area so we could get good sleep. Restaurant has an amazing food, everything we have tried was delicious and my piece of fish was huge😁! Staff very friendly. Perfect base to explore the area. Pet friendly too! Would 100% recommend😁

A brilliantly run, friendly place to stay. Room and en-suite were spacious and comfortable and the evening meal and breakfast I had were of a very high quality.When I’m nearby again I will definitely look at staying here again.

Fantastic place to stay . Room was lovely, fantastic evening meal & breakfast.Staff very friendly and helpful.We had two dogs with us and rooms booked before in other hotels (Dog friendly) can be grubby but our room was beautifully decorated, clean, large and very comfortable.Would highly recommend the White Swan.

Friendly and welcoming pub, restaurant, and B&B hotel in Lowick near Bamburgh Castle. The rooms are lovely with exceptionally comfortable beds. The restaurant is part of the pub and the food is good. The menu is limited but offers a reasonable variety, including vegetarian options. Easy access to the restaurant with no steps and good wheelchair access. The pub has one step to access.
