Great steak, and lasagna was nice as well. The burgers are also excellent and I would recommend getting them with homemade chips rather than the fries. They also have Sycamore Gap on tap at the bar which is locally brewed ale.

Pub food done badly. Ordered pork medallions.....I got two tough pork steaks...not the pork tenderloin medallions I was expecting. Disappointing....my partner's sirloin steak was undercooked and expensive. The waitress was quick and efficient......

What an amazing spot, great beer, food, hot shower. Wanna go back. Eat the steak pie, upgrade to chips, thank me later.

We had a very nice meal. Presentation was good. A very friendly bar lady. Well worth a visit to an historic establishment.

Stayed here last night and from arriving to leaving the service was outstanding. We had an evening meal and breakfast and both were fantastic. The room was clean with a lovely view of the countryside. I would definetily recommend it.

Called in there today to three of us and a dog, called in on spec and the service and food was amazing, not over priced.Burger was amazing, wife had the lasagna and said it was super tasty, fish and chips should be called whale and chips! It's massive!Great please to visit especially when dogs are welcome not many places are.Will definitely visit again, lady working the Bar area was very polite and respectful

We visited the pub to eat on the 17th September & liked it so much returned twice more the for a special family reunion. Great ,will be back

Lovely local country pub. Owners Darren and Ian are super friendly and welcoming. The food is lovely and service amazing. The outside area is fabulous for the kids and there is enough to keep them occupied. A lovely beer garden in the summer and a cozy night by the fire in the winter. Love it
