Tyne Riverside Cafe in Northumberland

Lovely friendly helpful staff make this a compulsory stop whilst walking the Spaniels.Great value food and dogs made to feel very welcome.Go - enjoy the scenery, the fresh air and walk to build up an appetite for a lovely pit stop.

Great spot for a cup of coffee and scone-both cheese and fruit scones are excellent. The lady that looked after us was absolutely wonderful. Will definitely visit again..

Had a lovely cup of tea sitting in the sun after a 25 mile mountain bike ride. Very nice it was too. Lovely friendly staff.

Great to see the cafe has re opened. The staff were really friendly and we're looking forward to trying more of the menu.

Gorgeous little cafe with lovely staff. The old photos and artifacts are fantastic.I took the children here for the first time as there is a great park outside of it.Definitely be going back again for our lunch.

Delighted to see this open again & with a heritage visitor centre too. A great place to sit near the river & chill out. Plenty of parking, a kids' playground nearby too and close to "Proud Heights" castle too!

A lovely country park in the Ovingham Area, great for dog walking, leisure and strolls, especially the sections along the Tyne. Beautiful views and scenery, see the photo enclosed. Also has a nice tearoom almost near the bridge.

After a visit to Prudhoe castle came down here for a walk round river. Nothing much here as office wasn't open and there's not a cafe but free car park and lovely walk so not complaining.

I love this area. Great place for family walks, bike rides, picnic etc. Free car parking, public toilets and a great cafe.

Excellent day out. Walk or bike ride along the river. Welcome break at the riverside park.Toilet facilities there. car park also disabled facilities. There is a cafe there but due to flooding closed at the moment.Go and have a look for yourselves.There is also a defibrillator there. If needed.
