Well House Coffee Shop in Northumberland

A great coffee /cake/ lunch stop. Staff were friendly and helpful. We called in on a Saturday afternoon for tea and cake. Cakes freshly baked and tasty. Wanted a sandwich for 9.30 on Sunday morning. Took order and had food ready for us even though they did not open till 10! Would recommend and would return.

Excellently run small independant cafe with very good choice of home baked food teas, coffees and hot chocolate. Definitely recommend a visit for good food and friendly service.

My coffee was pretty poor. Milk boiled within an inch of its life, still too hot even after I asked for cold milk to be put in. Cakes looked awesome however. Maybe need training on how to make a decent coffee. Won't be back

Lovely. Just lovely. Superb coffee, great selection of pies and pastries and a warm welcome from those on the other side of the counter. Can't think how it could have been bettered.

It's lovely, feels nice indoors and has a great little patio at the back, the food's good and home made and great value.Always a good welcome, friendly service and very well prepared food. Great value too. Really like it here

The staff are super-friendly and the food is top quality and remarkably inexpensive. People pay twice as much elsewhere. Enough said that the locals are regulars!

Nice little cafe serving great tasting food and drinks.Sit inside or outside if you prefer. Reasonable prices and friendly staff.Welcome stop on our 30 mile cycle ride with Nellie the dog on board.

A friend and I popped in for a breakfast last Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We are motorcyclists (mature ones) and, sometimes, we don't receive the best of welcomes.On entry we were met by who assume is the owner. She was cheerful, chatty and friendly, behind the counter was a young man who was equally friendly and helpful.We both ordered a cooked breakfast, he had the large, I had the small. All items on the plate were excellent quality, tasty meaty sausage, thick bacon, black pudding and egg correctly cooked (you get the idea) and on the side, thick brown bread toast and a good sized pot of strong tea.All good.I'll definitely pop in again when I'm in the area.

A lovey coffee shop. Had a afternoon tea for 4 plenty to eat, very tasty nice surroundings. The staff are very nice and friendly. Would definitely eat there again and would recommend it if your passing though Belford or even travelling on the A1. Take a break with a short detour and have a lovely cup of tea or coffee.
