Wellington Hotel Restaurant in Northumberland

Lovely pub , nice for a meal in the summer as lots of tables outside, looks lovely inside too. Staff very friendly. Sadly our fish was very dry and overcooked. I would like to go back sometime but probably won't have fish and chips again .

The beer garden and atmosphere at the pub was lovely. However, the food that we had was sub-par. The fish and chips, which were comparable in size to a Wetherspoons portion, were slightly overcooked and relatively overpriced. Would still go back for drinks but likely wouldn't order food again.

Sea food plater was so good as,was the service!

One of my favourite Tyne Valley pubs for several decades. It's geared more for eating than drinking, but the food is good. We were just in for a quiet midweek lunch and it couldn't have been any better.

Fabulous service, great food. Happy customers. Loved the valentine sweet treat bag at the end! Lovely finishing touch to a rare lunch date with hubby x

Haven't been here for years, last time we were very disappointed but so glad we tried it again. Husband and I are vegan and we were so please with the choice if food and the quality, it was delicious and really affordable 😋 The staff were so helpful and friendly, made you feel right at home. Will definitely be going back.

We came here with friends after supporting one of our party in the GNR 2021. The restaurant was clean and modern, classic but very smart.We had a choice of tables and the staff were very friendly and efficient.We ordered starters, mains and deserts and we all agreed that there was not a single dish that wasn’t spot on! Everything was hot and fresh and delicious! Portions were great and value for money was excellent!I have saved this fantastic eaterie to my Google favourites and we will stop here again next time we’re in the area.Thank you to the full team for a superb night!EDIT 10/10/2021: Ate here again last night and again the food was really good. Sadly my booking hadn’t worked but they still found a table for us and the staff were friendly and efficient. The restaurant was busy but it was still clean and of a very high standard :)

Went for lunch on a Sunday and was able to order non Sunday lunch food. Staff were lovely and friendly. Lots of well spaced out tables inside and out. Sharing platter came out quite quickly and was delicious. Will be back again for sure.

Pasted this pub a few times, stopped off for a pint today about 5-30. Large car park behind it, and as you walk to the entrance there is a large beer garden. Met by friendly staff at the door and directed to a table in the bar area as we were only having a drink. Much larger inside than it looks from outside. A very popular pub as the beer garden was busy and a lot of came in for meals at pre booked tables. A very good country style pub but with the the feel of a good local.

Amazing food & coffee the staff are brilliant from start to finish make you feel so welcome. Highly recommend 👌
