Great country cafe, friendly staff,big breakfast.

All fresh and local. Best breakfast ever.

Great value, home cooked, locally sourced produce with a warming atmosphere (not just from the log fire). We visited for breakfast which perfectly fuelled our walk up to Staward Peel. Shop is suitably stocked with essentials and local goods. Will hopefully drop by again soon.

Nice fresh coffee and a cake and pastry , tables uncleared and cluttered . Will still revisit .

Lovely cafe, food is made fresh and atmosphere is friendly. Is equipped with any every day essentials you may need from washing powder to dog food.

This is the friendliest cafe where other customers chat while waiting for good quality food cooked by Janet and served by friendly waitresses. My favourite cafe. It might not be the quickest meal due to small number of staff but best meals I've tasted. Fresh ingredients and cooked with care. Great cakes and tray bakes too.

A proper, local, village shop with a café as part of it. Most excellent home made cakes, scones and hot food (including, of course, my standard of the bacon, sausage and egg sandwich). Will definitely be heading back there again! Pro tip: it closes at 1300 on a Sunday, so go early and don't get caught out!
