Clean and tidy the staff very good pre ordered meals just had to wait a couple of minutes to finish off order did not mind that and that proved the meal was hot good reasonable prices

My wife is very picky when it comes to takeaways but Wylam garden is a great Chinese restaurant offering a takeaway service.Food always comes hot and very friendly staff when you call.Overall a great place with a excellent food star hygiene rating.

Salt and pepper chips were super hot and crispy. I’m not sure what they do different but they’re the best ones I’ve had. And the menu seems very affordable.

Open on a Monday, (everywhere else in the area was closed) clean, cheap, friendly and great quality.

Meal we received tonight was so salty that it was unedible. We did get an apology but only %10 off our next meal, insulting really as we had to throw the whole meal away!

Never had a bad meal at this take away. Picked up take aways for 3 people and they were all given to me by name so it wasnt confusing. The food is so tasty and I would recommend this chinese takeaway to anyone. It's a struggle to get through on the phone but worth keep trying.

Used to go here a long time ago, and stopped as it wasn't great. A friend recommended we try again and we were pleasantly surprised

It's fair to say that Wyalm Garden is one of the best takeaways around.Yes, waiting times can be a pain, the same as a Chinese manager not speaking the same language. Well go to China then people and try and speak mandarin. Don't be so close minded.As for not being in the 21st century. Cash only? Personally, I like that. But hey, I like to use a pen and paper also. Not everything has to be here and now, on an app or with you in minutes. We have that all day everyday, at work, take some time to wait and relax, with the family and having a real life conversation. When the Chinese arrives, its worth it, in fact, you've almost forgotten you even ordered one.What's wrong with people, why the need for comments like 'dingbats'? Use another establishment if you so chose. That's the benefit of our first world problem.I will always use Wylam Garden. I like the small company feel, the family run, not quite sure when it arrives effect. There's something unique and old school about it.Use just eat, deliveroo, whatever you please.I love the food here. Thank you.

Absolutely and completely gutted. Ordered my food at 7.30pm. Waited patiently for an hour then thought I would phone. How on earth 2 mushroom fu yungs can take an hour is incomprehensible to me. I was told it would be another half hour. At 9.45pm I was so hungry and disappointed I rang up to be told the food was on its way. You can probably guess the rest. One driver incompetent staff also the manager doesnt speak our language at all. So who the hell do you complain to? After 25 years of using this establishment I now give in. Useless mind-numbing dingbats who couldn't run a bath.

Ordered at 5:45 pm , 15 mins after they opened, how many orders could be taken in that time? , it's now 8:45, phoned back an hour ago and got sorry we are busy it will be with you in 30 mins . I've just called the Indian takeaway ! . Chinese finally arrived 3hrs later , not even an apology now waiting for Indian and won't waste time ringing Wylam garden again
