Disappointed, over priced, not hot when collected and bland flavours.

Great family restaurant. Fresh, tasty food at a reasonable price. Couldn’t fault the experience. Staff were attentive but not intrusive.

Excellent Chinese takeaway. The food is delicious and not expensive. Lovely staff and the meal was ready on time. Highly recommend this place.

We had a sit down meal here around 2 years years ago which was lovely staff also very nice, however we had a takeaway on Sunday 8th August and really wasn't pleasant. The salt n pepper chips looked like they had been re heated and didn't even have a correct lid to put on the chips arrived cool, the bbq spare ribs where terrible, no taste of bbq more like gravey. We were disappointed as we were staying in Alnwick for the weekend

Staying in Alnwick for a week and just had a lovely takeaway from here on Sat 12th June.Very impressed and beautifully cooked. I had the mixed started, none of your wing yip deep fried stuff here all seemed freshly prepared and was delicious. Had the salty and spicy squid again no frozen squid rings here but delicious and fresh deep fried squid pieces... Also had the chicken in ginger spring onion and garlic, a very healthy and fresh dish and the beef satay, no gloppy msg ridden sauces all fresh and very well cooked. Am going to have to have another Chinese before I go! Can't wait!

Had a takeaway from here for the first time the other day. Lovely fresh food with good selection of veggie options. Friendly staff who were happy to answer questions and food was ready to go right on time. Would highly recommend. Thanks so much for a lovely meal!

This restaurant is situated just inside Bondgate. Make sure you don't eat the same day that you visit here. The food comes in generous portions and is too good to waste. The crispy duck is particularly excellent!

I bought a take away and ate it at the Hostel. 5 Star food cooked to perfection and served by very friendly staff. Very reasonable price too. I know where to go straight to next time I'm in Alnwick.

The waitress made the visit, attentive and welcoming. We went on a Monday eve in sept so lots of room. The sauce (satay) was lovely, the quality of the meat was just ok. The desert menu was a little disappointing so only gave 3 stars.

Lovely little place to eat, even though it doesn't look like much when you walk in - stick with it.The staff are friendly and we enjoyed some really good banter with them. The food is ready great; hot, tasty and well prepared.We really enjoyed our evenings at Tan's and would definitely visit again.
