Visited the Half Moon in Lazenby by chance. Glad that we stopped. Greeted by a friendly staff member/owner?The pub decor was I remembered it as it had been some years since I last visited. Pleasant surroundings.We ordered food, which came remarkably quickly, very hot and plenty on the plate.Note: The half parmo is huge😀 I would hate to see what a full parmo would be likeWill definitely call again. If you are in the area and looking for a bite to eat then I would recommend based upon today's meal.

We live literally 5 minutes away from this place and I can’t believe we’ve never been. Traditional home cooked food, hard to find these days. Food was amazing and service fantastic. Definitely be heading back soon

Staff are wonderful, efficient service and friendly. It is very clean and decor is pleasing and comfortable.Evening meal was tasty and great price pointSunday dinner was a little below par. Starter was lovely, soup. Meat was tough and needed seasoning. Good price point for a Sunday dinner. Will try again, maybe just that day.

We received a warm welcome and excellent food and service. Their gluten free options are always lovely. I had the gluten free parmo and chips and they were gorgeous. The outside area is lovely too with new seating so we had a drink out there afterwards. Would highly recommend.

Very tasty food, and extremely friendly staff.Was excited to get tucked in to a proper Parmo, being from Cumbria and not being able to experience these often, and this surpassed expectations in every way! Also the staff were extremely helpful and went the extra mile, even serving a customised version of something to suit our needs. Would 100% return here.
