In The Dog House in Redcar and Cleveland

Really enjoyed our first ever visit to In The Dog House. There is outdoor seating both to the front and back. Only a small selection of toasties and paninis but a decent selection of desserts and a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Appreciated the salad dressing served with the side salad, its a nice touch. Nice chilled out atmosphere and the staff were lovely. Good place to stop off at after a beach walk from Redcar or Saltburn. Found it a little pricey which is why four and not five stars.

We called for lunch after a lovely walk along the beach. The staff were amazing and made us feel very welcome. There was a lovely atmosphere, the food was excellent.The experience did not stop there, as when we were returning to our car, one of our party fell in the road.Not only did the staff come out to help but also the staff from the dog grooming next door took care of our two dogs.The whole community helped . Thankfully the 90 year old lady who fell is now safely at home. So many thanks to everyone. But especially to "In the dog house" staff.With that care we will certainly be back. Definitely one of the safest places to be.Finally a special thanks to Kate.Anne and Ken.

Spacious cafe, with lots of indoor and outdoor tables. Very welcoming staff. Tried lovely vegan lemon cake (even though I'm not vegan) Delicious. Will return soon.

Popped in for a coffee after walking from saltburn with a friend who was visiting, very clean and the staff are lovely. Will defo be back again as plenty of seating outside which is good when you have a nervous boy. Picture of the boys wanting to share the biscuit 😁

Finding a cafe as dog friendly as this is such a bonus. We normally visit the area to walk from Marske to Saltburn where we enjoy our fish and chips before walking back. This cafe has caused us to revise our start point. In future we shall park at Saltburn, walk to Marske, enjoy our luncheon at this lovely cafe and walk back to Saltburn.

Exceptional service and quality food, welcoming and friendly, what more can I say, just try this cafe and bar for your self, and you like me will love it and keep going back for more.

This place is lovely and you can take your dogs.... Only reason for 4 stars... There wasn't a great selection of food. However what we chose was really nice.
