Nice pub, fairly new. Good menu but not cheap. Lovely helpful staff. Plenty of outdoor space.

Great staff, great service, quick service, great food & price, always welcoming. Decent choice for vegetarians, good outside area too. Great that it is dog friendly too.

Staff member 'Matty John', went above and beyond in our experience to the restaurant with my 14 year old daughter, her friend and my 3 year old son. When my son was falling backwards on the chair he were sat on, the staff member now known as Matty, caught my son in a split second as he took to the floor, along with my son, with a fraction of an inch to spare, between the floor and my sons head. He swiftly and gently placed his hand behind my sons head, as his other hand grabbed the chair arm.You would have had to have seen it to believe how fast and gentle he was in catching him, and guiding him to the the rightful position. He did this like it was second nature, and did not expect even a thank you. I could not thank him enough, and would love it if he got the recognition that he deserves.I also find my vegan diet is very professionally catered to, to a high standard in a respectful way.Now I know me and my children can carry on with our regular treat meal here, knowing we are in safe hands.

Decent and funky place to grab some grub food. Staff all spot on too, really polite and helpful. Seated 10 of us on a Sunday evening no bother 👍

We've used the Longacre many times and had a great experience.Yesterday, for us was a celebration. I tried to order a mixed grill, but was told I couldn't because some items were not in stock. I asked if I could substitute whichever items were missing. I was told no, as no items were in stock. There's an Asda and Aldi which carry all of those items - simple solution?I ordered soup, and it tasted like the most watery Basics/Value soup I had ever tasted. Very disappointing indeed! There were many empty tables, but it took an hour and a half for our food, 2 burgers and a fish and chips to arrive! We did want more drinks, but weren't asked throughout that long wait. The fish was fine, but the batter was heavy, soggy and tasteless. What was meant to be a celebratory meal, left us all feeling deflated, dejected and frustrated with the food and service yesterday. If there was staffing problems we should have been told of thisso we could manage our expectations. Others around us felt the same as they were left waiting a similar time frame for their meal.Next time, maybe a takeaway at a fraction of the price might be the solution...

We are in the middle of having our kitchen done which means no use of a cooker. We are so lucky to have a place like this on our doorstep. The staff are welcoming the food is gorgeous my only suggestion to make it better would be introducing parmos to the menu

Came over from Bolton to visit our daughter and son in law and our 3 year old and 3 week old grand sons. Was also joined by our youngest daughter and her fiance. We had a lovely meal, the staff were excellent and the place is spotless. Will definitely come back when we are visiting again.

Really solid Sunday dinner. All veg and meat perfectly cooked and good portions. Needed more gravy but the staff can't do enough for you. Excellent choice.
