Morrisons Cafe in Redcar and Cleveland

all tables dirty and full of pots, so we couldn’t sit down. when we asked politely if they could clear a table for us or just for a cloth so we could clean it ourselves they were very unhappy about it. After standing patiently waiting for 5 minutes while they stood around talking they finally came to clear the table, half cleaning it and left the floor full of food.

Breakfast and drinks cold asked why staff wasn't interested

It's OK, but when we walked in no-one about , I sure it's not the staff to blame as they would have been preparing the food to go out for the day .Everything all cooked so the breakfast was cold asks for poached egg only to be told not been delivered First time ever experience prepacked ready poached eggs very odd .

Nice cafe staff friendly need to updata times don't open until half 9 on Sundays

Was an okay breakfast, bacon not cooked properly. Service was great.

Had lovely breakfast, I really wanted a flying start but was told that they are no longer part of the menu, it's a shame because I used to like them. Service was very good and lass even got my coffee and took it to the table because I couldn't carry it as I have to use a walking stick so I couldn't manage it.

Below par service with people who haven't got a clue. No cutlery was available at first so no knifes and forks, you had to go to the counter for salt and tomato sauce, the food.. where do I start? The chips weren't cooked properly to point of they where still frozen and still hard, the veggie burger was like cardboard overall not worth 30 pound.

Will not use this cafe again since they have changed the menu , everything liked they have taken off and new menu is terrible, vegan burger was like cardboard,, but staff are lovely very polite.

A positive visit to this busy bustling cafe . Decked out in the familiar pastel shade chairs and modernised table style . The cafe has the additional screen ordering service which I bypassed to get service . I ordered my meal at the till without any problems and the lady at the till stopped everything and collected my pot of tea ,knife,fork,spoon etc and cleared chairs away from the disabled labelled table . The table was about the best one I have sat at so far ! I was able to slide the front of my chair including my legs under the raised table without banging my legs !! It actually allowed me to eat my food without having to bend for it !! All Morrison should have these . I was given plenty of room too. The fish and chips were hot and tasty a d the service time can’t be faulted considering how busy they were!!

Decent food when they've got what you want, reasonably priced, especially if you have kids there are good deals, 2 adults and 2 kids eat for £10. £12 if your kids want sundaes. Quite often there's something not ready or in stock probably because of its popularity.
