New Shanghai in Redcar and Cleveland

Ordered 7.47 phoned at 8pm to chase was told it was ready waiting fro driver phoned back at 8.15 told ot was out with driver phoned at 8.32 told they couldn't contact driver as didnt know who had the order njt to refuse it and they would refund now 9.16pm still no sign of food but have had email saying refund will take 3 - 5 days. So obviously loed about not knowing what driver had the door as they must have told him not to deliver. Will never order from again

1 star and it is lucky it got that!!! Food was absolutely brutal! No taste,bland and didn't smell or taste right at all. I will most definitely avoid this place and reccomend others to do the same 22quid opened and threw straight in the bin.

Just had their prawns with mushroom and garlic and rice, too much, it was lovely, can't move now I'm so full

Meal arrived late (well over 1) food was cold and inedible, absolute gash. Worse take out experience ever

Just had a simple take away. The worst ever had that couldn't eat it. Curry sauce runny and weak tasteless. 😔 Use to be nice. And never got right change

Ordered food 2 hours ago. Just arrived now Luke warm and soggy. Not to mention the complete wrong order. Rang to complain and request my right order woman on the phone says can you just not eat that and we can correct it next time. Erm no love I would like what I paid for and there won't be a next time 👍

AVOID New Shanghai in Marske. Ordered a chinese 2hrs ago, came late not our order & ended up checking every order the poor delivery driver had !! Not our order. Rang the shop to be greeted by an abusive, rude and aggressive manager. He refused to cook our order as he was too "stressed". 4 phone calls later because he kept putting the phone down, he was blaming the delivery driver who was so canny and wasn't his fault at all. Avoid this shop after phones calls to just eat a complaint is going in & a refund of £19 is being sorted. I can't believe this is a business. I really hope the poor delivery driver doesn't get the chew for !! If i could score lower i would ... DIABOLICAL

Food is lovely, friendly staff and varied menu. The place gets busy so food sometimes takes a little over an hour to arrive but it always arrives hot and fresh.

Nearly took 2 hours to come, salt & pepper wings and chips were drowned in onions and veg???? Good job we like onions. Curry sauce had a layer of grease on top. Was not worth the wait or money. Phoned and complained about the wait but felt they didnt give a damn. Will not be ordering from them again.

The food is nice the majority of the time but tonight it came about half an hour late and when we got into our food we found a total of 9 hairs in 2 dishes 😕 Also the prawn crackers were really soft and had a small slit in the bag...
