Norman Conquest in Redcar and Cleveland

Noisy uncomfortable atmosphere, food took 3/4hr to arrive and I was served ice cream on a hot plate! Asked for another plate to put the ice cream on so it would not melt and I was offered yet another hot plate!!! Won't be going back EVER

Food is usually nice from here however this time it was awful. Ordered the mix grill and everything was barely cooked both the steak and the eggs were raw to the point of being inedible. The gammon was cooked however the overwhelming taste of salt also made that inedible. Nicest thing on the plate was the chips which were top notch they will tide me over until I get in and can make some edible food. It is normally very nice and always has excellent service.

Love coming here. The food is great and the deals on them are great value for money. Our server hali was exceptional and the rest of the team was also great and made sure we had everything we need. The conquest had become my regular spot and I would recommend it to anyone.

Clean quiet environment. Friendly staff. Sunday lunch was disgusting, chewy beef and packet mash. Sharing starter platter was ok chicken wings were crispy and delicious. Probably will not return.

Went on Thursday for buy one get one free burgers and my parents had two meals for £9.99. Our food bill came to £18 for four people.. can’t complain about that! Love the new beef and chicken burger.

Really nice food! We visit every other week, usually on a thursday as its BOGOF Burger day!! Food is always well made and tastes great. Super friendly staff too. ❤

Belter of a pub. Food can sometimes take a while but it does get busy. Staff are all friendly not afraid to have a crack with you. Know your drinks, seem to enjoy their job. Just a mad lot. Drinks not too pricey and looks great since refurb

Loverly steak fondue, great service and drink choice. A lot of different things on the menu to suit all. Steak cooked perfectly and enough to share between three. Will certainly be back but will fit dessert in this time

now top of the list for my worst pub grub meal. after a 50 min wait, in 75% full pub. went for the Go large 'fish shop platter' served the smallest fish ever. 70% was made up of batter. to top it the lager was flat.
