Lovely and clean. Great view. Beautiful meal on the evening in the hotel and breakfast was lovely on the morning. Staff very friendly and helpful

Super friendly staff, but in general the rooms are quite tired and lacking in things like towel rails in the bathroom. Breakfast is good, don’t know about other meals. I think it’s also overpriced, but am a little out of touch with U.K. prices.

Very good location and parking. Friendly staff. Room was very nice sized, warm. Would definitely book again. Only thing was shower rather low pressure and the shower get could be of better quality. But very enjoyable stay.

Is the second time we're staying in this hotel, service is good and staff is very friendly, they have a excellent full English breakfast 😀 😉 very good quality.Only thing its the hotel is old, so some of the rooms needs a maintenance but other that that is good.

Entering the reception area on arrival I was greeted with an awful smell which resembled a residential home.Stayed in the Granville Suite. Very spacious with good views of the beach.The room was relatively clean however there was a few patches of damp, mould on the window and the bathroom window was broken and covered making the bathroom very dark.The bed was comfortable but had to use our own blankets for extra warmth.Also had to turn the radiators on as was extremely cold when we returned.The water pressure for the shower was very weak and cold, had no resolution during our 2 nights.Parking at the rear is tight for larger vehicles but just about enough spaces.Come breakfast time, there was a good option of cereals, yogurt and pastries. Also on option was a self service English breakfast, however it seemed to have been made with little care or consideration. Eggs were quite rubbery and the bacon was quite hard. The scrambled egg was very watery underneath and dry.Overall though the staff were very polite and kind, but £195 for 2 nights seemed a bit steep considering the above.

Amazing customer service. Fast and easy check in.Dinner was well priced and the restaurant was very quiet for a weekend. Lovely breakfast that came with the booking.Large bedroom with a decent TV size and the view is outstanding.

Just returned home today, from a long weekend break staying at the Park Hotel, We had the Durham Suite 1st floor with sea view, which was very roomy, with 4 poster bed, A dated down hotel that has had half a renovation with fixtures and fittings but the bathrooms are still old fashioned and very dated. We had an issue with the bathroom radiator not working but within 5 minutes a lovely staff member came to the room and got it working, all the staff clearly work so hard and nothing was a problem, very friendly too, great evening meals and full breakfast overallGood value for money fantastic views...could be a 4/5 star hotel with improved workmanship.

The room/suite was huge and the ground floor. We checked in at about 11.30pm but received a friendly welcome from the night porter. The sea view from the room's bay window was exceptional; 180 degrees of sea! The buffet breakfast was good but take some coffee from the room as the restaurant coffee is awful. The main reason it gets 4 stars rather than 5, was the bed which was really uncomfortable; you could feel every spring! Shame but the hotel could do with some money spent on it to bring it back to top standard.
