Skelton Mill in Redcar and Cleveland

Excellent experience. Great hidaway.The owner who does everything by the way is a great chef and cooks all the meals. Runs the bar on a night.Nothing is to much trouble. Also the history of the mill is amazing. We will be returning that's for sure. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely friendly staff, quaint cafe and location. Food was delicious. Only reasons for not giving 5 stars, was a number of options on the menu, where sold out and it was cash only. Recommend, well worth a visit.

Just had a excellent night can’t fault the place from the moment we got there Dave the owner and his staff could not do enough for us good night in the bar good food pizza excellent definitely will be back thank you Dave and your staff👍

The women on arrival seriously needs to work on her customer service skills. Pre booked a stay and afternoon tea. Made to feel like we were an inconvenience. She argued over our voucher, ripped it up in front of us and begrudgingly said we could use the balance of it later. Although she some how reduced the £24 balance to £14. Felt as if we were being ripped off. Luxury “lodge” was more like a bed in a shed. No shower, no tea/ coffee. Over priced. On the plus side, Parmo was nice. Dave was more friendly. Nice cocktail. Was a nice setting. Promises more then what it offers. Feel like we were gonna be held to ransom over the lodge key £20 deposit.

This is a lovely little place, we had a one night stay in the lodge with private hot tub and breakfast included, the staff are very welcoming and friendly, food is great too.Highly recommended and I'm sure we'll be returning again 👌🍾🥂

My and I took our daughter and her friend. It was a gift from us for her 16th birthday. Honestly money well spent, we all had an amazing time. Staff were lovely and couldn't do enough to make sure your stay was the best it could be. My daughter and her friend already planning their next stay. Food,drink and hot tub what else do you need!

Lovely place with interesting layout and really friendly atmosphere with lovely staff make you feel welcome the food is amazing with plenty of hot tea the choice of fresh bake cakes he makes himself ( talented) 10/10 if you have been yet make a point of not missing this great afternoon tea or stop over in the pods or cottage the evening bar is suppose to be great set in woodland near a stream the stone built barn conversion looks amazing top job and now expanding the front paddocks into bell tent glamping or motor home escape brilliant idea for a cheeky weekend away you'll love it ❤️👍🥂🍾🍽️🥃🥂🍻🍻🍻🍻

Stayed 3 nights very nice stayed in the cottage, hot tub lovely and hot!! Beds comfortable, clean, and warm. Had a great time going to different places like Whitby and Saltburn.Dave very helpful and friendly.

The place is a hidden gem, the owner dave was very welcoming and lovely he was very keen to keep us happy and make our stay comfortable. great guy to have a enlighten conversation.The service if very nice. The lodge came with a cosy hot tub and quite reasonable priced. Definitely a place to get away for a few nights.
