Coffee nice.Ordered a slice of corned beef pie which looked and tasted dreadful.Told the waiter who didn’t offer a refund or an alternative. He just walked away and threw it in the outside bin.Lesson learnt - I’ll never order food there again.Wouldn’t let me post zero stars otherwise I would have.

Even though Saturdays are one of the busiest days i still got food in less than 10 minutes. Food was less than £5 and worth more in my opinion. The mushroom, ham and mozzarella tostie i bought was amazing; still warm, the mushroom fried and soft and the salad was crisp and fresh. Perfect for alone dining and super recommend!

A delightful sea & cliffs outlook cafe. Enjoy eating inside or seated, tables & chairs on a roof covered porchway which catches the rays of the sun, wind shelterd, so dog friendly with large bowls of water.Staff are smashing,so friendly, food freshly cooked, great menu, yummy cakes & famous shophillies cheesecake. Good coffee, hot chocolate,Wheel chair friendly, mobility scooter friendly, there is parking along the road outside, the cafe is surrounded by the coastal green with access straight to the beach via walkway sandy path through the sand dunes or further down a bike, pushchair, wheelchair, scooter path straight onto the promenade , beautiful stretch of beach ,cliff, sea views, idea for that leisurely stroll dog walking, .So call into The Stray Cafe & enjoy.

Really enjoyed the All day breakfast...£4.99 & hot too...It came with 2 slices toast each aswell...IThought the small cheesecake was a bit expensive at £3 tho tbf...maybe that's the usual price for cake...I get a whole sponge one at Bakery for £4...But I don't mind paying it to keep small local businesses open...Just thought I'd mention it if it was a choice between hot food or a cold pud I'd pick the Hot Food...Tea was nice & strong...Will definitely go next time in Redcar...Service Good & quick & hand gel available...

We parked on the main road nearby. The parking on the road is free. The cafe was buzzing and was full of life. They serve great choice of English breakfast, paninies and sandwiches. There are few tables inside and sone more outside. The breakfast was served really fast and it was very tasty. Nice walk by the sea afterwards. Very enjoyable

Had a breakfast, service was quick and food was nice. Quite a lot for the price served by a very friendly smiley young lass, good food and even better price.

This is a wonderful little cafe right on the sea front. It is a lovely place to sit on a sunny day and whether you sit inside or outside there are great views over the beach and towards the coast of Saltburn. The food is lovely and there is a good range of meals to choose from. I would definitely recommend this place.
