Nice local pub. Live music, drinks and food. What else do you need?

Came on lunch, 1 chef on and caused 50 minutes wait on food, this was only made apparent after waiting 50 minutes. To which appetite left ourselves and wasted half the food, refund was given but having visited and had a awful experience before but came with a forgiving nature it isn't the money the issue but more so the experience.Set expectations, fulfill full service of your customers with precise and clear communications, refunds wouldn't need to be made.To make clear no refund was ever asked but given without request, however I'd much rather pay and enjoy than to come away feeling empty and dissapointed.

On arrival 2 young staff members (1 male, 1 female with dark hair) were behind the bar, we arrived and stood at the greeting stand at the door, both staff members looked at us but turned away to talk to each other. Another young couple arrived and walked past us into the pub, I then asked the staff if anyone was seating people to which I was told no the menus are there sit where you like and they then continued to talk. We sat and decided what we wanted to order for ourselves and our child, then tried to order our food using the QR code stuck on the table, this took us to a link telling us online ordering is not available so I ordered at the bar. The young lady who served us (dark hair) presented like she couldn't be bothered, no smile, nothing. Our food arrived quickly, however I ordered The Classic Chicken Burger which stated it comes with burger sauce but this wasn't on my burger so it was really dry. My daughter ordered the kid's Beef Burger which stated mixed leaves and tomato, it came with only iceburg lettuce and her side of Salad Sticks was missing. I waited 5 minutes then went to the bar to inform the young male staff member that this item was missing, on my way back to my seat the young female staff member with light brown hair who brought our food out asked the young male who I spoke to "what was that?" He told her the Salad Sticks were missing to which she abruptly replied "Well they weren't there, that's why!" He kindly proceeded to bring them out for us. During our visit we witnessed the young male staff member standing and talking with a couple of friends that were having drinks at a table for around 10 minutes while people were standing at the bar to be served. Overall not a great visit, we've been here before and there was a bigger selection to choose from including a specials board which has been changed into an advertising board instead. During our visit our daughter wanted to play outside, the area around the play area was shocking, the amount of litter was ridiculous! I'm disappointed to say that after today's visit we will not be in a hurry to return.

We couldn't thank courtney enough for her level of help and also understanding of allergies. As soon as she knew one if the children had an allergy she straight away wipes the table down got us new menus and got us the allergy folder. Every member of staff we seen were lovely and friendly but Courtney stood out and went above and beyond if only other places took allergies as serious as she did. We will definitely be back and using this as our regular go to for amazing food

Food was nice but over priced in my opinion, it was buy 1 get 1 free on main meals at an average of £18 per plate. Staff were lovely.

Food was OK, nothing you don't expect for a pub chain. I would say the chips were deep fried due to the texture and flavour, which is great in a chippy, but I felt it made the meal too greasy.Price however is way higher than it should be for what you get. Nearly everything is £15 average. A LOT for a burger and chips or even just a pizza. Even pub classics, bangers and mash - £14.30?! This is very overpriced for the quality of the food, the atmosphere inside the pub and the geographical location.

Good pub grub and some nice offers like 2 mains for price of one are excellent value. Staff were friendly and very helpful serving us really quickly and only a short wait for food. Nice atmosphere with plenty of different seating areas. There is outdoor seating too but the weather stopped us trying it!

Nice , clean and very welcoming staff specifically John who I believe may have been the manager was super friendly and helpful the second we walked in until the second we left, First class service.Got the knockout burger and that’s what it was … a knockout (removed the chilli) . Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

We were a party of 16 and we got booked in no problem. We all have meals and drinks. I have the surf and turf which I can personally recommend cook to perfection. We had a deal when purchasing 2 meals you get the cheapest free icing on the cake for me. I would like to thank the staff and the manager we had a great time

Waited 45 minutes for food. When it came it was absolutely disgusting, my daughter ordered a hunters chicken which was chopped up and in a bowl of grease. Mine was gammon and chips, the gammon was soaking wet, and not cooked, the chips were hard and overcooked. The waitress took off the drinks from the bill and 20% off the whole of the bill. So basically I paid £12 for about 4 chips. Massively overrated, dont waste you're time its vile! They say you get your cheapest food item free, I'd say go to Macdonalds instead.
