The Seaview Restaurant in Redcar and Cleveland

I visited Seaview Restaurant back in Feb 2022. I enjoyed the food - the scallop risotto was very delicious. Their signature crab meat brioche was good too although I would prefer less mayonnaise in the crab meat. Service was attentive. Overall a pleasant experience.

Absolutely fantastic dining experience at Seaview. We waited around an hour to be seated (great communication from the hostess so we were kept informed the whole time) but it was well worth the wait! Small but fabulous menu and reasonable price. Will definitely visit here again asap!

Just been after the refurbishment, there’s an extended outside terrace, with stunning views over the beach and pier, the remaining seating area is now upstairs so the downstairs is given over to a more extensive takeaway. It’s very popular, so be prepared to queue (bookings only taken for evenings). The food is first class, there’s a traditional Fish & Chip menu, but also a good choice of other seafood.

We loved our halibut and sea bass. The sea bass had sauce full of shelled mussels and the halibut came with squid sauce, tasting like lobster sauce. The potatoes are beautiful too.

Amazing view and brilliant food. The staff were attentive and looked after us brilliantly.Worth the trip for the food alone but complimented perfectly by the view!

Very very good service. Girls are nice and friendly, received a warm welcome from door to table. Nice food. The oysters are a bit tiny and not juicy enough but don't matter. I love the salmon scotch egg. It's amazing! Cod loin is a bit too salty however the garnish and marsh potatoes are very nice to match with it. And the end, I love the view of the window ！I’ll try the crab with French brioche. Definitely will come back with friends!

It’s a very nice, better than you average chippy, as it is a bonifido restaurant. Fine views of the sea, great table service and tasty food awaits you, make sure to book ahead as this place can get really busy, we had a super supper time watching the tide roll in

A little taste of perfection.Warm and welcomomg staff, great design (bright and cheerful yet relaxing too) and delicious food. The flavours in the crab brioche were spot on, no flavours out-did the others and the freshness waa superb.

The Crab Brioche was amazing. All the ingredients were so fresh and delicious. The service was excellent, finding us an outdoor table with great views of the beach and sea. Very dog friendly. Overall a brilliant experience, we will definitely go back when we are on this coast again

A lovely restaurant with amazing sea views from the huge windows, great fish dishes and really friendly staff! No need to book at lunchtime, well worth the long wait when it's busy! Try the local crab brioche for sure as seen on the BBC.
