Just returned from a 2 night break. Had requested a ground floor room and was given the York suite. The decor was beautiful and the view out of the window was stunning Every member of staff we encountered was really friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were fantastic loads of choice (best fried bread ever) Our carvery experience was great, again plenty of choice. Our dessert, lemon meringue pie with ice cream, was extremely tasty. VERY reasonably priced too. We would be happy to recommend. My only problem was that with my mobility problems I would have rather have had a shower cubicle instead of shower over the bath. That however did not spoil our stay. Maybe you could consider making the ground floor rooms a bit more disabled friendly, you already have a ramp to the door.

Stayed Saturday night with friends. Our room waswonderful, we couldn't fault anything at all, so light and spacious, spotlessly clean and a lovely sea view.Breakfast was first class and the staff friendly, cheerful and efficient.Excellent value for money.and efficient.

The fixtures, fittings, and linen in our room were in need of some TLC, but our stay was otherwise spot on. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the hotel is perfectly positioned on Redcar front. We ended up skipping breakfast due to being too short on time, but a couple we spoke to who had had the breakfast said it was excellent.

Great little hotel. Staff are just great, it's good value for money and the double room is a good size. Bathroom could do with a little bit of tidying up but it's huge. Right on the sea front so the views are lovely.

Lovely helpful staff, large clean room and amazing food. Good location for shops, pub's, beach etc. On site car park. We'll definitely be coming back

Very good location and parking. Friendly staff. Room was very nice sized, warm. Would definitely book again. Only thing was shower rather low pressure and the shower get could be of better quality. But very enjoyable stay.

Entering the reception area on arrival I was greeted with an awful smell which resembled a residential home.Stayed in the Granville Suite. Very spacious with good views of the beach. The room was relatively clean however there was a few patches of damp, mould on the window and the bathroom window was broken and covered making the bathroom very dark. The bed was comfortable but had to use our own blankets for extra warmth. Also had to turn the radiators on as was extremely cold when we returned. The water pressure for the shower was very weak and cold, had no resolution during our 2 nights.Parking at the rear is tight for larger vehicles but just about enough spaces.Come breakfast time, there was a good option of cereals, yogurt and pastries. Also on option was a self service English breakfast, however it seemed to have been made with little care or consideration. Eggs were quite rubbery and the bacon was quite hard. The scrambled egg was very watery underneath and dry.Overall though the staff were very polite and kind, but £195 for 2 nights seemed a bit steep considering the above.
