Had a lovely afternoon coffee and cake with family . Staff were exceptional went above and beyond. Will definitely be going back again.. Hopefully for a meal next time but will book .

Disappointing visit for lunch. I had a traditional dinner but the portion was on a tiny plate. No proper veg, just mashed apart from a single large roast potato. No Yorkshire pudding and no sauce ☹️. I had to ask for gravy. The meat was okay but quite dry. I would have given this fewer stars but the staff were lovely (the only positive). I can only imagine they rely on a captive audience and upselling pudding as the meal isn't very substantial. As others have said, it was drafty too. One poor elderly chap left before finishing because he was so cold (the door had to stay open apparently 🤷‍♀️). Such a shame.

Stunning venue. Stunning food. Stunning service. Steak was cooked to perfection. Amazing selection of starters, both indoor and outdoor (heated) seating areas.We wanted to try something new and it really suits a special occasion, in this case a family get-together.

Very disappointed obviously had a very similar experience to others in so far as the service was seriously lacking, mind I would like to add it was more the leadership team that simply didn't care. Food was average, one of the meals was cold and we were actually cold to the point we had to put ours coats on when I asked if we could move the reply was no we have plans...no apology!! Shocking really, l wont be returning and lets hope these reviews bring some improvement.

Loved this place in the past, but went recently - asked for no onions on my burger and salad, needless to say with 1 star, both burger and salad was full of onions. Annoying when the waiter repeated back my order and made a point of highlighting my meal with no onions. Also took a long time before we actually got served. Then asked for tomato sauce and we were brought out a thimble worth, had to ask for more numerous times. They're obviously skimping which is a disappointment for when you're out for a meal with your family. Makes you feel chewy having to emphasize things that are ignored and then repeatedly ask for more condiments.

Absolutely fabulous food in beautiful surroundings, whether its winter and your inside or during the summer in the conservatory. Highly recommended ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Beautiful place to eat. Friendly and polite staff, and very clean. This is our 3rd visit, and everything as been spot on. And when you gett chatting to others in the restaurant they all have said they have never had a bad meal there. And the decor is nice to. And the outside surroundings are beautiful, tucked away in amongst the forest with all the wildlife around. Just one hell of a place to eat and there is a bar there to with a lovely log fire. And you can eat and drink in there to if you don't want to go into the restaurant. Me my wife and friends love it there. We have lived down South for 35.years and just moved back home to the area. And we are so pleased to have found a fabulous place to eat and drink. They even have a area outside in the summer were you can dine and drink to. Just all round very impressive 👏 👍 Mr and Mrs Lincoln-Price.

The most beautiful place for last few years. Dishes are quit big and very tasty. They have a good choice of cocktails and they are tasty so good👍

Lovely venue with beautiful trees all around. Food was delicious when it came but service took a long time. Had to remind the staff to bring water and glasses. Probably new waiting staff after the pandemic!
