Water Wheel Inn in Redcar and Cleveland

Excellant country pub this. Peaceful location. Plenty of room inside. Nice beer garden. Service was fast and friendly. Food very tasty and quick to arrive. Senisble prices. A little bit off the beaten track. But definately worth it.

We popped in on the off chance of finding something to eat and weren't disappointed. Very nice food and service.

Went for the specials board it was delicious and we will be back. All home made and served with great service.

Such a good evening at the Waterwheel. Food was very good and good value. But what made the evening was the friendliness by all the staff. The waterwheel deserves to be full every night.

Absolutely beautiful food and atmosphere. The Landlord Ian was very accommodating and pleasant. The Sunday carvery was so tasty and beautifully cooked. Would definitely comeback to try the menu.

FINALLY!!!We have found a pub that serves homemade delicious food. And a really good pint. Will definitely be returning.

When me and my girlfriend stayed at the Hobbit House up the road (end of Jan/early Feb), we came here for dinner one night. Being the quiet season, we were the only two patrons there, but we loved the traditional charm and character of the Water Wheel. The Landlord was even singing along to the music on the stereo, which I thought was brilliant!The burgers are huge and delicious and it a delight to be in a proper Yorkshire pub again.
