I was just walking past and thought I’d give it a try.I was pleasantly surprised how friendly and welcoming the staff was. The food was absolutely delicious and as fresh as it gets. The place was very clean and the prices were very reasonable.I will definitely be coming back and bringing the family and friends. I was very impressed.

It's a nice looking, comfortable bar / bistro with great service and nice food. Stopped in there for lunch as we had never tried it before and found the staff friendly and the service quick. We'll definately be going back, perhaps trying an evening meal.

Travelled from Saltburn and was well worth it. Beautiful Sunday dinner. Everything was melt in ya mouth delicious. Shame it wasn't there 25yrs ago when I lived in South shields. Will be there again soon. 1st class and very reasonable price. 👌

We went with friends for a catchup meal. The food was lovely with the exception of my clotted cream ice cream, which was more ice than cream.The service was severely lacking. Some of the staff actually ignored a member of our party, and looked annoyed when I finally managed to get their attention.The toilet cubicle doors were extremely awkward, and only a person the width of a wafer could squeeze through with reasonable comfort.

First time ordering Sunday Lunch from Bar Blue. The lad that delivered was very polite and friend. The chicken dinner was delicious and hot. And the Ginger sponge and custard could not fault. All in all a very tasty lunch and dessert. Will definitely order again.

Beautiful cosy place to dine, find it best to pre book a table but can still have a small wait, food is lovely, really up to standard, but I do feel there is no organisation with the staff waiting the tables, no fault to the staff all wonderful, polite and very helpful, but odd things missed or slight mix ups , other than that I would definitely be back and do highly recommend .. child friendly, parking and outside seating also available.

Absolutely beautiful Sunday lunch, is the best I've ever tasted the beef is that soft it melts in Yr mouth, the staff are kind and friendly and the place itself is very clean an nice inside,Defiantly go there again and recommend it to anyone
