I went because my car was being serviced near by & all i had was a few cups of coffeeI was welcomed as soon as i walked in & there were a few people eating breakfast Which means the food must be nice

Half menu wasn't available. Given 3 really dirty glasses for our drinks . Chicken wing were severed virtually instantly and luke warm. Chips were over cooked and had been fried In old dirty oil. Service was terrible with a hoste server with an attitude and miserable personality. Build looked like it had not been maintained for decades. Outdated over priced precooked ready meals. Done very badly.

Typical Brewers Fayre food at typical prices, however, this is all the positives I can tell you about. Robin is rude and arrogant, he is as miserable as sin and i cannot understand why he is in a job that deals with the public as he is inept at dealing with them. If you are lucky enough to visit when Robin is not on duty, it'll be a typical visit to a Brewers Fayre. Susan the barmaid is great, smiley and really pleasant to her customers, thank you Susan.

Went for a family Sunday dinner meal.It was one if the lowest quality and basic meals I've ever had. No flare shown in the meal, no added extras, gravy was not flavoursome, not even mash on a Sunday dinner. Absolutely basic as it comes. Worst of all, emailed the company 3 weeks before now with these comments, no response. Avoid if you want a good meal. Staff were good mind, but we went for scran.

A lovely clean example of the Brewers Fayre chain. Spotlessly clean when we went, with pleasant, friendly staff and nicely cooked & presented food

Food was poor, got the Mac n cheese burger there was 4 bits of Mac and cheese on, nothing like pictures 🙈 burger in general was nice, kids sausages weren't browned off at all.Lady in soft play was lovely! So friendly and helpful, fantastic with the kids credit to your staff.

What a fab place.Lovely comfortable and very relaxing surroundings.Food was exceptional this evening, what a great pub food menu & cooked to perfection, thank you to whoever was the chef when I dined there late afternoon. If we had gone there at a later time I would have stayed and tried out one or two of their seasonal Christmas cocktails from their drinks menu - they looked very tempting and fun.Service at the bar when ordering was friendly and helpful. For pub food and atmosphere I couldnt recommend anywhere else in Shields higher than this.Shame it has taken me so long to try out the place.

Been ages since I was here, definitely going more often the food was delicious (had to take a photo), I ate every last bit and that's unusual for me. The staff are really friendly and attentive. Thanks to staff member Jack

Horrible STAY AWAY! Got a cheese burger with chips and coleslaw. First the chips were overcooked and the burger bun was cold. They had made no attempt to toast it or even warm it through. I complained and they did bring me a fresh one. Taste wise, the chips were dry and still overcooked in my opinion. Burger was a 4/10 coleslaw was fine. Price wise at £10.29 just not worth it. Could have had a better burger down the road at ither McDonald or Burger king. I will not be returning.
