Lunch today, sarni & chips. Decidedly average. Bread was dry. Not buttered. Chips OK. Bit pricey for what it was. Won't be in a hurry to return. Staff seemed disinterested. Had to ask for mayo/sauces. My guests nachos were OK.

Love this pub! Always been my family favourite from me being a child to working there to now visiting quite alot with my own little family! Always good service! Staff are so friendly food is always spot on 😊... probably the best family friendly pub going! Roll on thesummer for the beer garden, nice food & keeping the kids busy.. 🌞

Just left after having a lovely meal, I had hunters chicken and it was so tender it just fell apart it was beautifully cooked and I tried one of the new desserts off the new menu and it was really nice I've been going here for 3 years now and I won't go anywhere else for a meal 5 star everytime thanks again for the amazing food and for being so welcoming everytime 😁

The place was well decorated, clean and pleasant. The staff were friendly and we had a pleasant meal. There was something for everyone on the menu and the staff were attentive. Enjoyable family meal.

No the best experience, walked in and went to a table to be barked at 'have you booked'No was our reply, bearing in mind this is a Saturday afternoon with 6/7 tables occupied. Just so happens the one we sat at was reserved but no signage to say that. Anyway we where moved the table right next to the one we were sat at.So the food, I went for the steak and ale pie with veg. The pie came not as advertised as it was a mix of short crust and a puff pastry top. No just all short crust, veg was carrots microwaved and lots of water with them, peas over done in same microwave and instant mash with thin gravy.Don't think we will bother again.

we booked to take advantage of the 30% off main meals, we opted for the mix grill, wow it was great and excellent value for money. There was a lot of food and ended up bringing home a doggy bag. We will definitely be returning and bringing friends with us

Welcome at the door by staff, escorted us to a table for a drink only. Bar staff was softly spoken (only just able to hear her). She forgot the lemon in the G&T, rectified when went back to bar. Otherwise no problems. Its been 3 years since out last visit and the changes have been well thought out. Will return.

Food good value and friendly staff, had a lovely Lunch. No table service now or mask wearing. Not COVID safe.
