Colmans Seafood Temple in South Tyneside

Wandered in or the seafront in the ebe ing and managed to get a table for me and my partner, really friendly staff and incredibly attentive.Very impressed with the food, seafood curry and prime cod and chips, the curry was amazing and you can tell it's all made in house. The cod and chips was fantastic home made tartare sauce too!Highly recommend this place if you're in the area, staff were always making sure everything was ok along with double checking on us, making great conversation too.Amazing atmosphere which really helped to enjoy our visit

The most delicious seafood. Excellent service and great location overlooking the sea.We shared crispy oysters & garlic butter King prawns for starters then I had a yummy seafood curry that came with sticky rice and Asian salad. My better half opted for grilled haddock with caper butter served with chips. We finished off with icecream for me & Elderflower panacotta for him. Faultless!

- Reserve a table- Cod is meaty and crispy with minimal grease.- Seafood platter is nice. A LOT of mussels hidden underneath - a meal in themselves- Langoustines are sweet and tasty.- Everything is well cooked.

We has some oyster and seefood plate for 2 , amazing food , so large portions, we had to take 20 min break before we could finish it . Staff was extremely nice , bartender was supper cool , and management and waitresses they were kind , talkative, friendly- was a nice atmosphere, pretty view for seaside

First time visit to here, even though I love seafood. Was not disappointed!! Had mussels for starter and Malaysian Seafood Curry for main. Stick a fork in my, I'm done

We have driven past so many times mentioning that we'd love to try it someday. Someday was today and oh boy it was delicious. Happy friendly staff and very good service. The 3 of us all enjoyed our fish and chips and the desserts. Would highly recommend a visit.

Incredible food with a lovely view! Staff were super friendly and attentive, making sure your every need was taken care of. First time attending as it was for a birthday treat and will definitely visit again. We had the seafood platter for 2 (pictured) and there was so much variety and excellent quality.

Beautiful place, it felt like an Italian restaurant instead of fish and chips! It was buzzing with chitter chatter, I wish it was daytime because the Gandhi's Temple (known and called by the locals) is in prime location for bueno vista. One thing concerned me that 2 of the main characters, a waiter and a waitress had bags under their eyes. Working or partying too hard. 5 adults, 2 children and the bill was £100 something (less than £101.00) Because I wanted to pay the bill, in a hurry, I forgot to tips and publicly would like to apologise for that. Limited, actually 1 vegetarian option of battered Halloumi! Delicious, far too big. I would recommend.

Each time I come here I am delighted with the quality of the food and the genial staff. We went for a stroll along the coast and popped in on spec to see if there was any availability, fortunately for us it was between lunch and tea so there were a few spots available. We shared oysters for a starter and though the wider menu was incredibly tempting, we stuck to the old fav's one haddock and one cod and chips. I had the curry sauce to embellish this further, I must state the flavours of everything we ate without additions were superb, the extras took it to another dimension. Well Done Colmans, another great meal.

We visited the Temple last night and had the most amazing experience,The food was stunning, the service was superb.Our new Favourite restaurant,We will be back.Well done guys ....
