El Tio in South Tyneside

Loved it! Fab food, amazing cocktails, fantastic service! Feel like this is a totally underrated restaurant in South Shields!

Went last night and ordered a steak, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff where brilliant. Throughly enjoyed the food. Would definitely go again. Loved the decoration inside. Looks like they have a good selection of wine’s also. Highly recommend.

We have eaten several times over the last few months and it just keeps getting better and better. Our waiter had a permanent smile on his face,in fact, every member of staff was warm and friendly. The food, what can i say, absolutely amazing, feels like being part of a family when you're there. Thank you

Nice! Visited while staying close by. Really nice place to go, warm welcome great good and wine selection. Brisket first time round was very good, ribs second visit and I'll be back to try more before I make for home. So speaking for its self really.Well done El Tio looking forward to coming back.

Attentive service, didn't have to wait ages despite not ordering starters (it wasn't busy when we ordered..was full by the time we left). Good sized portions with good flavours. No space for dessert.

I had food delivered as an early birthday meal. It was lovely!! Very impressed!! Quesadilla and burrito that both came with a small salad, triple dip and chips. Really nice!!Would try again.

Great food and service the waiter went above an beyond to ensure we had a great experience.The Mexican pizza and chicken chorizo pasta was delicious, but I did get food envy when the sizzling steaks were brought out for another customer the smell was divine!The rum cheesecake was the best cheesecake I've tasted.Fantastic cocktails too.The food is great value for money I will definitely visit again.

Fantastic food at a very reasonable price. Paid £5.95 for a top quality burger with salad and fries, it was worth double that price. We will certainly be paying another visit.
