Greggs in South Tyneside

Charged more for eating inside but wasn't informed that was a thing I don't often go to Greggs so I didn't know they did that, food is okay and cheap, staff are alright.

Very nice shop, but everytime I’ve been there’s been fresh bakes come out of oven…..but the staff member chooses to give the older ones that are stone cold /: Don’t understand why?

This is their new 2000th store inside the new metro/bus station in South Shields.They have the usual large range of hot & cold sandwiches, soup, pasties, pizza and pies, hot and cold drinks and lots of sweet treats.Shop is quite large with plenty of seating and toilets and it's open late even on Sundays.Staff are very friendly and helpful 👍Open 6am till 9pm Mon to Fri7am till 6pm Sun

We always enjoy a coffee there in south shields next to specsavers the staff are pleasant n very accommodating n no our order the only thing missing from the shop n shops are a canopy outside for the bad weather as I enjoy sitting outside

It's a Gregg's. Staff always lovely with plenty of selection. Clean and well maintained.

If eating inside food is still put inside a paper bag. Fresh cream cake squashed. They ask if you are eating in or taking away but still paper bag with your food no plate or cutlery. Rather off putting to say the least. Food okay just general service

Greggs in King Street. South Shields is a great place. You can choose from a range of sandwiches and cakes with coffee, tea and soft drinks. You can eat in or take away.

WAS a Great stop off for coffee, but have been raising their prices higher and higher over the last 12 - 18 months.. and still going up, so now go to Cooplands instead

We both enjoyed a lovely cup of tea. And a delicious cake. One of the nicest cups of tea around.
