Lovely fish & chips nice friendly staff & very clean

Had to phone up as no chips arrived with our fish and chips as advertised to be greeted with a torrent of abuse from the woman on the other end shouting and swearing!!!!!Very very BAD customer serviceWould not order ever again from them.

Food was delivered hot and on time. Ordered Pizza, Kebab and Garlic bread. All were very tasty, possibly the best kebab meat in south shields... my new favourite chippy

Pizza was banging and Nanna Wood, who can normally be a bit if a diva, enjoyed her Fish. Win Win

I often get fish and chips here and they are one of the best chip shops around. The food is usually very nice and I never have long to wait to get served. If your looking for good old fish n chips then this is definitely the place to go.

Very rarely give 5 stars but results have been repeatedly brilliant from this chip shop. The fish and chips are far better than Colmans with the cod being plump white and fresh and fried correctly with no soggy batter. The chips are absolutely perfect and delicious in a butty. Pizzas also highly recommended. Good size portions and happy friendly staff, highly recommend this place.

Worst customer service ever money greedy. Over the thirty years since a child popped in here half dozen times. Never has the food been nice. Last time I was there a moment of madness . I fancied a kebab, can't go wrong can you. It came after asking for garlic sauce with icey cold sauce. This was a really cold day. The kebab was cold by the time I sat in the bus stop outside. You were informed and you refused to do anything. I've asked many other food shops all of which say garlic shouldn't be served freezing cold. Your a disgrace to food outlets.

Went for lunch and me and my mate both ordered chips, I wanted cheese on mine but the owner said he couldn't melt it even though any other place would do it easily (this is the second time this happened here).I also struggled to understand much of what the owner said as English is clearly not his first language, he could have at least hired a native English speaker.Furthermore my other mate ordered a kebab and when he got it there was grease soaking through the paper wrapping and down his arm. This kebab was also cold before we even left the shop. (My friend is also suffering from food poisoning atm)Chips were nice though

Can’t really fault this place, they do the best fish and chips in shields!! There pizzas are amazing!! Customer service is on point,so friendly and kind!! Keep it up!! 😊

Love this chippy! They do the best fish and chips, so fresh and tasty. There portions are massive especially there kebabs. Proper love this place.
